Beautifull Wilton Class Wedding Cakes Last night, I took my last Wilton cake decorating course. We made wedding cakes. I'm very happy with the results! :DSubmitted to the Ace of Cakes community.Wedding cake for the 3rd Wilton class.Each tier of this cake has 5 individual layers of almond sponge cake soaked with Kahlua/coffee syrup, and is filled between those layers with mascarpone cheese filling. Topped with heavy whipped cream mousse, dark cocoa powder and chocolate shavings. Surrounded by lady fingers and tied with hand made ribbon. I included a variety of techniques in this cake - the 'fabric' frills are sugarpaste, branches are painted, birds are bas relief, and the borders on the top 2 tiers are extension and lace. The topper is a moulded gumpaste bowl with bas relief birds and leaves with peonies, roses and tea tree flowers. Exclusive Photos Of Cincinnati Wedding Cakes My good friend Aaron go married on September 9th in Cincinnati. Luckily, we were able to work it out so that we could attend. The ceremony was at Dree's Pavilion which sits in a park that overlooks Cincinnati. I was a beautiful view and a lovely ceremony. Of course I brought my camera and Ron and I snapped a lot of pictures. The Sweetest 50th Wedding Anniversary Cakes Happy 50th Anniversary Grandma and Grandpa. This was a recreation of my grandparents' original wedding cake originally designed by my great-grandfather Arthur Kiehl. The size of some of the tiers was reduced, and live flowers were added to the top, however the design remained the same. This cake serves 150-175.50th Wedding Anniversary cake I made - yellow cake with delicious buttercream icing. The couple loved it and I recieved many compliments.Stacia made this cake which was 98% vegan (as in, the strawberry cake which made up the bottom layer could not be found as a vegan mix). Everything on the cake is edible.
