Indulge in Dark Chocolate
2007-05-12 13:46:00 I absolutely love dark chocolate, especially vegan chocolate.Psychologists assert that dark chocolate is good for your humor because the high content of cocoa increases the body's production of endorphines. This improves your mood and raises your energy levels. Only 30 grams of dark chocolate contains ten times more antioxidants than one strawberry.Although milk and dark chocolate contain high levels of saturated fats which increase levels of cholesterol, it's healthy to eat chocolate as long as you limit your consumption. Some people say that the Aztek's headman Moctezuma, who had a harem with 600 women, drank 50 cups of chocolate a day to cope with his obligations. The Most Delicious Breakfast
2007-04-30 11:09:00 Pukkola muesli © Rachel BethJamie Oliver's yummy and personalized Pukkola Muesli is something of the best and wholesome you can eat for breakfast. I eat it at least a few times a week and it's absolutely delicious. I always use his recipe, but with soya instead of diary. You can taste the real deal on his restaurant Fifteen in London, but if you don't eat diary I suggest you mix your own at home. This recipe will last for many mornings:put together and keep8 handfuls of oats2 handfuls of crushed bran1 handful of chopped dried apricots1 handful of drief dates1 handful of crushed or chopped walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts or Brazil nutsPut the oats and bran in a mixing bowl with apricots and dates. Add the walnuts and the other nuts. Now you can improvise and add the sort of fruits you like, for example raisins or figs, or use Jamie Oliver's combination. This mixture will last for several months in an airtight bowl, but by then you have probably eaten it anyway.make and mixmilk - I u... More About: Breakfast , Delicious , Brea , Deli

2007-04-29 14:40:00 On a recent CNN commercial, health reporter Dr. Sanjay Gupta talked about Costa Rica ’s Nicoya Peninsula and the town of Nicoya. He said that people live to be 100 years and even older inNicoya. ABC and other news organizations have had similar reports. Everyone followed up a research by the National Geographic writer Dan Buettner who is also the founder of Quest Network, a longevity researching project for students. In 2005, a Costa Rican demographer, Dr. Luis Rosero, claimed that of all the people in the world, 60-year-old Costa Ricans can expect to live longest. Academics at the international conference that Dr. Rosero attended didn’t believe him. Therefore, National Geographic’s Dan Buettner gathered a team and started an investigation. They identified several so called “blue zones”, places where people tend to live healthier and longer lives. The town of Nicoya is one blue zone. Here, 100-year-old women chop firewood, walk a long way to church every Sunday, make all me... More About: People , Live , Where
