2007-12-31 00:05:00 SimplyMepis 7.0 previewI recently just downloaded the most recent image for the new SimplyMepis 7.0 Linux . SimplyMepis is a linux deriative based on Debian.You can download the simplymepis image from here. (32bit)This was tested on a VirtualBox virtualization software (will post on it later ), Intel Core 2 Duo Cpu @ 2.25 GHz, 2gb of RAM, 8600gts videocard. (Although Vbox has no 3d support).On booting up the system, this is what you get -The main desktop is right next to it. (double click to make larger).Everything worked perfectly for me on first boot, internet and everything (did not test audio). So far, this distro looks good, and has a nice look to it (kde).Will post more later ;) !! More About: Review
