The L800 and its development kit, the L800WUSB-RDK, are available now. The L800 is a general purpose device controller for adding WUSB functionality to peripheral designs. It supports all compliant packet sizes, burst sizes, transfer sizes, and number of endpoints. It manages all the functions required by the WiMedia UWB and Certified Wireless USB protocols, including beaconing, encryption, and association. This makes the L800 ideal for use in printers, scanners, digital camcorders, media players, and other peripherals.
