Vegan Eatin in Tokyo & Kyoto

I was in Japan a little over a month ago and had some delicious home-cooked meals. I found it a bit hard to find vegan friendly dished at restaurants and even more so at traditional style inns in Kyoto . I did however have a l lot of really nice relatives that were a little confused at first by my dietary restrictions but ended up making me some of the most amazing home-cooked food. The Animals Film - 25 years and counting

25 years after first broadcast, the producers Miriam Alaux and Victor Schonfeld are now selling their film on DVD.  You can read an article from The Guardian here about the film and it's re-release.  Part of me really wants to see this and a lot of me is absolutely terrified at the thought of enduring the documentary.  If you want to check it out go to http://www.theanimalsfilm.com/. Farm Animals & Us

The Compassion in World Farm ing Organization has created a nice video on farm animals.  If you want to learn a little something and don't want to see the real horrors of animal farming this is for you.  They cover the various levels of intelligence of these animals and how we farm them.  There are no clips of animals being slaughtered.
