This was generated from a book of the same name by Marti Barletta that I read about on the Tom Peters Blog at http://www.tompeters.com/rss.xml.Prime Time Women are not marketed to by ad agencies, nor for product marketing, according to Ms. Marletta and they should be. According to her, this group has more disposable income, higher education, and executive positions than ever before yet they are still largely ignored.I loved viewing the video and reading about this since I fit this age classification and I am part of an organization that does recognize the value of this age group: Erickson. Do you agree or disagree with the results of this survey:Erickson Heal th , whose care model enables retirees to thrive by reducing the amount of time they spend in the most restrictive and expensive health care settings – assisted living, skilled nursing, and hospitals, recently commissioned a telephone survey of the over-65 population in five cities: Boston, Chicago, Charlotte, Denver, and Phoenix. The purpose of the study was to 1) assess interviewees’ understanding of their overall health; 2) find out what they fear most; and 3) measure their satisfaction with their doctors and health systems.A total of 2,007 people were interviewed. Their results gave data that are 95 percent accurate, although results may be subject to sampling error. Findings of the study include:Health status: Those interviewed said they are generally in good overall health (83%). Welcome to this blog (a new buzz word for the freedom to write, converse, discuss,opine electronically). The blog is Con-Versations. What, a new word? Actually, it’s a new take on an old word that I thought fits this blog: Con meaning persuading, learning, opposing or examining something. Used with Versations…it means having a discussion, talk, and now even: real time interaction with a computer. So that’s what this blog is about…interacting, persuading, informing, learning. Who is nurse nancy….the point person, primarily health focused, the leader of the pack here.
