After reading her book Don’t Go To The Cosmetics Counter Without Me, I signed up for her free Beauty Bulletin . It’s pretty much a free extension of her books, where she reviews new products, answers viewer questions, reports on beauty news, and gives you beauty tips and tricks. Get the free email beauty bulletin here. I have signed up for the regular email bulletin, and the bonus email bulletin, so I get an email once a week. There are sooo many new beauty products coming out all the time, so obviously she doesn’t report on all of them, so I still head over to MakeupAlley.com to read reviews there too, before buying something new. Prescriptives Super Line Preventor Xtreme caught my eye last month when I read about it in Allure. I looked for reviews about in on MakeupAlley.com, but couldn’t find much about the new Xtreme version. Yesterday I noticed that Beauty Snob wrote about it, and now I’m tempted to try it since she gave it a really good review. But then I realize I can’t find the list of the product’s ingredients anywhere online. This drives me nuts!!! For non-drugstore products, it’s impossible to find ingredients half the time. A lot of times people will post them on MakeupAlley, but otherwise, I have to wait til I get to the store to see them. UGH. I don’t know why companies do this. Maybe I’m the only one that cares about ingredients, or maybe the companies are trying to hide something because the ingredients are crap, or maybe they are ...
