*korean students by Kyre2*i'm glad to be back...i as actually planning on not posting until the Board Exam results came out but I'm still eagerly waiting for them. Rumor has it that it should be out by this Sunday!!So what have I been up to...I've gotten myself a job, that's what's taking up most of my time right now. Asides from having moved to a new pad.*pretty awesome sunsets of Manila Bay from the rooftop of my new pad* I'm now teaching English to Korean students (or will be in a few days). It's my first job so there's tons of things i'm picking up already. And it's a bit off from Nursing itself, but I did pay attention to Strategies in Nursing Education so I can apply that as a teacher. anyhow, back to work and let's all wait for the Board Exam results.Feed!

*by Ahorselv*(no we didn't get ribbons, we all got certificates and a prize shirt)I am very proud to announce that our group, Group F of Batch 2008, won Best Thesis yesterday, December 13, 2007. I'd like to congratulate most especially our group leader, Ate Irene and the rest of the group members. All our hard work and effort paid off! Thank God!If i remember correctly there were 11 groups (?) competing for a place. The 2nd and 3rd place went to two of the second-courser groups.It was a great feeling! I'm sure all my group members would agree. We all managed to conduct the experimental thesis within this short span of 2nd trimester (September - November was the alloted time span). Normally, an experimental thesis would require a longer time span but it was a feat we were all able to accomplish in time. I believe we were the sole group in our batch that conducted an experimental thesis, the others did descriptive.I mean from the start I was really skeptic already. Firstly, because...

MY PHONE IS LOST!!

i lost my phone last monday, nov 19.it was lowbatt so i left it on the pc table.i was rushing for clinical duties since it was our first day at a new hospital rotation.i hadn't bothered to put it in my drawer. i so regret that.i come back around 10pm after my clinical duty.my phone is gone.i placed a bounty on it for anyone that might care to look for it.it was P200. my cousin said something about making the bounty bigger. it just might show...hmm. i suspiciously think about what was just said.i don't know if it was stolen.or if it had been misplaced by someone else after i left it.i'm seriously pissed. i could deal with loosing the phone. but it has my sim card and my memory card and all the songs in my playlists that i so miss right now.i wanna go talk to a voodoo man and make him do his voodoo shit and make my phone thief die or make my phone pop up safe and sound. *sigh*how bowt you? have you lost or had your cellphone stolen? or anything of value to you?Feed!

*It's been taking me some time to complete my teen diet post so before I finish that up I'll put this filler up.*I came upon another one of those internet org movements, called FreeRice. It is a site where you play vocabulary games where they provide you a rare word and you have to guess it's synonymous meaning. For each word that you guess correctly, grains of rice will be accumulated and donated for UN to distribute to famished countries.I've only skimmed through it and donated 2 bowls of rice with a vocabulary level fluctuating around 30. I got this interesting Nurse Salary report from Jobstreet.com . It gives a monthly salary range, providing the minimum of P7,500 for fresh graduates(is that legal??) and a maximum of 17,000 for Supervisory levels. Ok this might be a little bit too early to start a review on the movie, but it's one of my most anticipated movies, ever since the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Here are a few tips I gathered from a few notes and simplified into 5 simple pointers. Hope you find them useful! Leave any comments or suggestions you might have regarding these tips, thanks - Tsaiko1. Eat breakfast. It helps if you are an early morning person and start a good early breakfast. Skipping this important meal will tend to slow down your metabolism during the rest of the day, therefore you tend to gain more weight. SO EAT BREAKFAST! :D2. Avoid too much sugar. Sugar enables the body to store fat. It is recommended that a person takes enough sugar every day but exceeding that will make you attract those fat.
