At his heaviest the 72-year-old weighed over 300 pounds but after foot surgery in March and losing weight he was able to walk last weekend and place first in his age group in the Fort Harrison Second Annual Walkathon for Veterans. After battling cancer, obesity and diabetes Casey says he hopes that his story will inspire others. "I had the fire department up there rooting for me I just had.
