With all of the organic foods now available so widely (you can even get organic products and produce at Walmart) it will be super easy to have an organic Thanksgiving dinner. Here are some fresh ideas for an organic feast...* Organ ic Cranberry Sauce: Boil a bag of organic cranberries in about 2 cups of water until they pop and it starts to get mushy. Add the zest of 1 organic orange. Now add about 1 cup of raw organic sugar. Simmer on low for about 10 minutes and cool.* Purchase an organic turkey either from your local grocer or a nereby organic farm. Yumm! If you'd rather skip the meat, try having organic veggie cassaroles instead.* Get creative with your recipes and subsitute as much as you can find with organic or all natural ingredients for much tastier, healthier and earth-friendlier dishes.Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I've been taking a new multi vitamin/mineral supplement that contains no preservatives, chemical solvents, yeast, gluten or artafical coloring or flavoring. I have to say the difference I feel between this vitamin and the very commercial one I was taking before is huge. That "brain fog" is gone, my energy is back and no headaches or upset stomache as well as a huge difference in my mood. That got me to thinking about what was actually in this vitamin and what each element did for my body. It can be hard to live green and look good on a budget. Most eco-friendly cosmetics are expensive and so we resort to using the everyday drugstore brands, most of which still test on animals. Apple Juice 'n' Asthma

A while ago a friend told me how she had heard about some studies on apple juice and asthma, how it is believed that drinking apple juice helps children not to develop the symptoms of it. She and I both suffer from really bad asthma. Well she mentioned that the past few years she hasn't had a problem and after hearing about the studies she noticed that since she's become a mom and has been drinking apple juice with her boys in the afternoons, she's been feeling a lot better.
