I know I know you thought you were going to get some instructions on how to remove the navigation bar from your blogger.com blog. No such luck here pal.One of my favourite online pass times is surfing blogs. You know just sitting back with a nice glass of chardonnay on a quite evening clicking through some blogs. Reading some, passing on some, commenting on some, fave or digging some. I have been wanting for some time to change my template from this?. 2007-05-31 21:09:00 Ok, ok. I know I was supposed to be continuing the 6 part series on Free Marketing Resources, but my favourite sport has gotten in the way of that. Cricket Lovely Cricket. The Beautiful Game! After 48 glorious days of being glued to the television watching so many great games, we have now reached the climax of the tournament. I have some great memories of this Cricket World Cup and I also have to add a couple of teams to my list of favourites. For me the real heroes of the tournament were the Irish. They came to the Caribbean with no fear or doubt, they were not supposed to last the first 2 weeks, and they were supposed to be one of those teams that the other high-ranking teams use for target practice. But the Irish had other plans in mind.They caused a huge upset by beating Pakistan in their second game and then went on to beat Bangladesh later on in the tournament. All Blogger.com blogs have embedded in the comments area of their templates some code that prevents links from being seen and counted by Google and Technorati. The ?No Follow? attribute makes links invalid. In other words, if you leave a valuable comment on someone?s blog and you also leave a link to your blog, unless the blog that received your comment has this piece of code removed, your link will not be counted by Google or Technorati. It also works the other way. When someone leaves a comment on your blog they will not get a link either.The purpose of the ?No follow? attribute is to help prevent spamming; we have all experienced spammers visiting our sites and dropping links to blogs that are valueless and irrelevant, without even leaving a decent comment.
