If you blog at Blogg er .com and you are a regular commenter on other blogs, there is a chance that you are not getting the link credit you deserve. All Blogger.com blogs have embedded in the comments area of their templates some code that prevents links from being seen and counted by Google and Technorati. The ‘No Follow’ attribute makes links invalid. In other words, if you leave a valuable comment on someone’s blog and you also leave a link to your blog, unless the blog that received your comment has this piece of code removed, your link will not be counted by Google or Technorati. It also works the other way. I have only been a member of MyBlog Log for two weeks and already I have made quite a few new acquaintances. If you are new to blogging you may be wandering what I am going on about.
