Work-at-Home Mom-A Blessing

That privilege became a true blessing when one of my kids was sick-having healing challenges. My youngest one, Sirius ( 20 months), had developed food poisoning and had bouts with vomiting and diarrhea for three days. Not to gross you out, but can you imagine the challenge of dealing with this health crisis. Matters would have been worse, if I had a job-a real 9-5. I would have had to call in sick and fear being fired or I would have had to take some of my vacation time. And depending on what type of job I had, I would have lost pay for taking off from work. I had to rush home to be with her for some time to let her know that I cared and was going to support her through this experience.
