Potty Train a girl or Potty Train a boy it doesn't matter
2008-09-02 03:06:00
Our method works. Thousands of parents over the last two years have bought the e-course. Parents who were at wits end, desperate to get their child potty trained before a new baby, house move, or school.I know and understand because I am one of those success stories. My son Caleb was nearing his 4th birthday. I was also in the middle of a nasty custody battle for my youngest son. Somehow my youngest sons father found out about Caleb not being potty trained and held that over my head...I was mad, determined, and at wits end all at the same time. I met Janice at church during a discipleship class. I talked to her about my struggles with Caleb. At that time I had no idea she had her very own website and e-course to teach parents how they can potty train their child.Desperate to try anything, I took advantage of Janice's offer. Try the method on my own and if it didn't work she would potty train Caleb herself.I went home still skeptical. I did learn though that all the times I was ten...

Accidents and odors
2008-07-24 16:29:00
Even before I began potty training my own children every once in awhile they would have accidents the diapers just wouldn't hold up to.After I got them potty trained, they still would sometimes have accidents. At night was probably the worst for my son Caleb. If I forgot to remind him to use the potty before bedtime, sometimes he would have an accident in bed. What's worse is the stains left behind by accidents. It didn't matter how many times I washed things the stain still lingered.I have tried many sprays that are supposed to contain odor fighting ingredients. Some just cover it and others do not have such a pleasant smell like they claim. Then I came across a spray called S.O.S which is a smoke, odor, and stain eliminator. I was skeptical this would even work. It is made by a company most people have not even heard of.I tested it on my furniture, in my garbage can, and on my oldest children's bags and things- their father smokes. So when they come back from dad's house everyt...

2008-07-14 10:33:00
After a long time of hard thinking and research, we decided to add a forum.I am involved in several mommy groups online and one of their biggest issues is potty training. Whether it is their daughter or son that is healthy or have developmental issues, they want to talk to others about their struggles.I personally have struggled with potty training and wished someone could help me right away. Luckily, I found Janice and from there I was able to feel better and more confident about things.I have found forums to be helpful as well as insightful. One of my goals has been to help others.Joining the forum is simple. You can go directly to the forum HERE.

Feeling Like A Bad Mommy
2008-07-02 15:55:00
My sanity was saved when I met Janice at church. I was desperate by the time I had the opportunity to talk with her about my son Caleb. After I implemented her method, Caleb potty trained in one weekend.I was a single mom to three children with Caleb being the middle child. He was nearing his fourth birthday and still was not potty trained. At the time, I was also going through a custody battle for my youngest son. When I was relayed some information that criticized me for not having my son potty trained. It hurt really bad yet I was frustrated. Even my ex husband was criticizing me when I felt he should be the one to help potty train our son. Then Janice came along assuring me that Caleb would be potty trained. I was still skeptical though. Caleb had not shown any interest at all in learning to use the potty. It was almost as if he enjoyed being in soiled pants.Countless days and nights I cried. I was angry, frustrated, and even depressed about it.The opportunity to enroll Caleb in He...

New Product For Nursery And The Rest Of The Home Hey everyone!I have found a new product to help eliminate odors in the nursery. It is non toxic and it helps to eliminate bacteria that causes odors. It contains biodegradable enzymes that are safe to use in the baby's room.I have tested this product out at the daycare and have found it to be very effective in eliminating the odors from the soiled diapers in the diaper pail.I also had another teacher try it in her toddler room and it helped to freshen the room and it helped to fight the odor causing bacteria in the room.I have also found it to be effective in other areas of my home. It also eliminates odors caused from having pets in the home, and it also helps to eliminate the odor causing bacteria in the garbage pail.Once again this product is non toxoc and it eliminates odor causing bacteria.Click here for more information

The Way You Think About Potty Training Boys And Girls
2007-11-26 22:00:00
Change Your ThinkingChange the way you think is a big topic these days. People are being told to change the way they think in order to improve their health. I say that parents need to change the way they think about potty training in order to get their child potty trained.Children are very susceptible to people?s emotions, and often your emotions are affected by your thoughts. Whenever you are potty training your child and you become frustrated you need to take a step back and re-evaluate your thoughts. Get yourself back into a positive mindset and then start to potty training your child again. In my e-book I mention that you need to let your child use a toy to learn how to use the potty. This imaginative role-playing will teach you many things. It will teach you about yourself and what you are saying to your child as you teach him to use the potty. If you see a negative image from this role playing you need to go back and re-examine what you were thinking when you started to potty tr...

Potty Train Boys And Girls Without Frustration
2007-11-20 15:54:00
Stand up and keep on going.I often tell parents as they are potty training their child they need to stay focused on what they want to accomplish, the goal of getting their child potty trained. However, often parents become frustrated and just want to throw up their hands and say, "I give up! My child can just stay in diapers."To those who see them self at the point, I say refocus your thought and get back into a positive mindset. Visualize the picture of having a child who no longer needs diapers. Go ahead and experience the feeling of no diapers for your child. Doesn't it feel wonderful?Go ahead and smile and as you smile release all the negativity you are feeling about potty training. Get up and start anew, and enjoy the time you have with potty training your child.Once again, be positive and stay focused on the goal and soon your child will be potty trained.Smile! It is all good.To potty train your child in a positive way check out this site. http://www.pottytrainingsite.com

Be Positive While Potty Training Boys Or Girls
2007-10-30 18:07:00
Positive Words are Important to Potty Training Boys and Girls Lately I have been reading about using positive words with children and I am a firm believer that positive words are the key to having a good potty training experience for your child.Positive words help to build your child's confidence as he learns his body signals telling him that he needs to use the potty. In the e-book on How to Potty Train Your Child in a Weekend, I state that you must be positive throughout the entire process of potty training your child.Ii know it is easy to become frustrated and you just want to give up, but when this happens you need to stop and reevaluate what you are doing and get back into the positive mindset. When you get back into this mindset you will become successful with potty training your child.Your child will also become more confident and will be able to use this confidence in other areas of his life. Teaching anything to your child must be done with love and a positive attitude...

Potty Training Problem and Frustration
2007-09-18 22:05:00
Potty Training Frustration It has been a very busy summer at daycare and we had to get eight children potty trained by the first week of August.I know many parents have received a note saying that your child needs to be potty trained to move into the next class at daycare. I also know that often this causes stress on the parent and even on the child. I understand the frustration of getting a child potty trained and that is why I wrote a positive potty training guide to help parents potty train their child. I use the same techniques at daycare that I mention in the book and they do work.Check out the site at www.pottytrainingsite.comI also offer coaching to help parents go through the entire potty training stage of their child's life. Potty training can be fun and exciting.

The Potty Trainer's Prayer
2007-04-26 16:14:00
Prayer for Potty TrainingPotty training can be a frustrating time for parents. Potty training problems can cause lasting strain on relationships between parent and child and relationships with others who may not understand the frustrations you face.Prayer provides a powerful way to connect with your spiritual guidance and, if applied correctly, gives huge relief and reduction in the stress of potty training just like any other emotional issue. Here is a suggested prayer of affirmation for potty training that you can use as you begin each day of your weekend of potty training. The prayer can be repeated often throughout the day for an added boost. There is a version for Mom (or Dad) and a version to repeat with your child.Click here for the potty training prayers:

Changing clothes
2007-03-05 19:04:00
More funny potty training problems! One of the techniques we teach in our course is to get the kids involved in cleaning up after themselves and changing their own underwear. We often get some strange looks form parents when we first explain this idea to them. Buy after reading the idea in context on the course or after we explain it in our coaching, they understand how powerful this concept really is.Here is a story I found of how funny this can be and is probably exactly the kind of image that goes through the mind of parents when we first tell them about getting their child involved in changing their own clothes.Enjoy it here.....

The Secret and Potty Training
2007-02-08 18:13:00
The Secret DVDOprah is covering The Secret today. I really enjoyed the movie even if it left out some parts that are important to me and my spiritual process. In summary, the secret as revealed in The Secret is that what ever we think about expands or becomes reality in our lives. These are exactly the same principles that Janice and I have been teaching to parents of toddlers for years. Potty Train ing problems are always manifestations of some frustration experienced by the parents. The more they focus on the potty training problems the more potty training problems appear in their lives - at the worst possible times. In our Course "How to Potty Train your child in one weekend" we teach you how to create a positive atmosphere that guarantees potty training success. There is a whole chapter devoted to how to tune your emotions so that your child will pick up on your positive vibrations. Also, we don't just leave you with the idea that just by thinking positive thoughts you child wi...

Wintertime Potty Training
2007-02-07 23:03:00
Potty Training In The Winter time WeatherHave you ever noticed that just as you get your child ready to go out to play in the snow you hear these words, "I have to go potty."? Now you have to take all the layers of clothing off just to find that he couldn’t wait and now he is wet. There is a solution to this little problem that causes much frustration. Take a diaper or pull-up and put it on your child over the top of his underwear. This will protect his clothes from getting wet if he can’t wait to get to the potty.Usually is what happens, when the child feels the cold air this causes his body to react by making him need to use the potty. By placing a diaper or pull-up on over the underwear the outer clothes are protected and the child doesn’t have to go in immediately to be changed. You don’t have to be frustrated and your child can still feel like a big kid even if he doesn’t make it to the potty in time.By having the underwear under the diaper or pull-up your child will st...

Through The Eyes Of A Child
2007-01-31 01:35:00
The Eyes Of A Child I read a quote that said: "There are not seven wonders of the world in the eyes of a child. There are seven million." Walt StreightiffIt is fun to see what new and exciting things my two year olds can find each day. They always surprise me by what they discover.Today while I was taking children to the potty they noticed one of the children in the nursery. They love to say hello to the children in the nursery. The two children I had with me became so excited to see one of the teachers holding a little girl in her arms. They were fascinated by her eyes and how she smiled. She smiled so big she dropped her pacifier. She didn't seem to mind. She just smiled at the two little boys who were talking to her. They were so into talking to her I had to remind them they were on their way back to class for snack.Just think how much fun life would be for all of us if we just took time to see the world like a child. Not only should we view our world like a child we should also t...

Goals of Potty Training
2007-01-30 20:20:00
No More Diapers! When potty training, what is it you are really trying to accomplish? For most people it is No more diapers! When you listen to Janice's Potty training tips to Lysa, you will hear her suggest to demonstratecommitment to potty training by having her child help her gather up and discard all the diapers in the house.Like Lysa, many of you will think that is a drastic step to take. However, this step helps to demonstrate that you are accepting success as the only option. With the right method, attitude and coaching, you cannot fail. Most goals coaches like myself teach their students to take action as if achieving your goal was a sure thing. If you truly believe that your desire to potty train your child is going to be a reality, be prepared to take the bold step of discarding all the diapers.Just make sure you are prepared for success. Without the right preparations, tossing the diapers is just wishful thinking and you are doomed for a messy failure. So prepare yourself wi...

"PooPoo" Sucker
2006-12-27 23:23:00
Funny StoryToday while I had two of my daycare children at the potty, one of them started telling me that she would get a big sucker from her parents when she learned to poop in the potty. Although many parents give their children rewards for using the potty this became humorous when she informed me that she would get a "poopoo" sucker for pooping in the potty.I had to control the laughing because she was serious about this discussion. As I know many children say the funniest things especially when they are learning to use the potty, and I thought this was one of the funniest. What are some of the funny things you have heard your child say about using the potty?
