The Eat-Clean Diet : Fast Fat-Loss That Lasts Forever! sounded to me like a perfect diet book. Before I even saw the book I googled author Tosca Reno, who at 46 is a fitness model, writes a column for Oxygen magazine, has written several books, and looks fabulous. Reno's story is remarkable.Born in Ontario, Reno was raised in a healthy eating home. Lots of whole grains, fruits, and vegetables - very little sugar and processed foods. She was fine through high school, but found in college that the more that was going on in her life the worse her eating habits became, and they stayed that way through the birth of her three daughters. My Best Summer Vacation

While it may seem a bit out of season, my best summer vacation was a trip I took to Turks & Caicos in the summer of 2005 with my husband Tony. The minute the plane landed in Providenciales I was already relieved and relaxed to be away, and the beautiful turquoise water surrounding the island helped. If you follow my blog at all you know that it was on that trip that we received job offers and made our momentous life altering move out of the United States. The Devil's Right Hand is the third book in what is currently a five-book series chronicling the life and times of Dante (Danny) Valentine, necromancer, bounty hunter, and demon lover. The tales take place primarily in Saint City on Earth in the distant future after the Awakening, an event that activated numerous psions and others with supernatural abilities as well as bringing Hell and its denizens to Earth.I have read many vampire and magic fantasy series including Anne Rice's ubiquitous "Lestat" series and Laurell K. Hamilton's "Anita Blake Vampire Hunter" books, and while I don't mind reading an entire series of books I like, it is also nice to have the individual novels stand alone so one can read them out of order and still follow what's happening. Having a dog is no easy task. They require a lot of work and personal interaction — talking, walking, bathing, grooming, and just plain old loving — dogs need their people as much as people need their dogs. I always considered myself a cat person. I grew up with Mittens, our family tabby who died at the old age of 12, and since then have adopted several cats that I watched get old and finally leave the mortal coil. Oh, the horror! I tend not to do a lot of social web stuff, as it just gets tiresome for me. I was pretty excited when heard about MP3 Rocket, a new site offering software that allows users access to free music downloads and movie downloads. So I went right over to download their Free Basic program and see what it was like.Normally companies that offer downloadable software specify what system you need somewhere on the download page. This was not listed on either the MP3 rocket site or on their secure C-Net download page. It turns out that the free software is a windows only .exe file, and since I have a pre-Intel imac that is just out of the question.Now, here's where things get interesting. I love orchids but have never been able to maintain them. I either overkill them with love, care, and water, or it was just too darn cold in Philadelphia.
