Today I did some research on the tiny blisters on my hands. I found out they are called Dyshidrosis. Sometimes I get these, but there are usually only a few of them. This time I have a lot of them and as usual, they itch like crazy. I was super busy today yet I still managed to drink six glasses of the lemonade mixture. The day just flew by. I worked out in the evening and then I fell asleep before I drank the tea, so in the middle of the night when I woke up, I fixed the tea and drank it.

Scale this morning read that 10 pounds are now gone. I'm still feeling great. No salt water flush this morning. I didn't do it because I forgot to drink the tea last night before I went to bed. So this morning when I got up, I had the tea. Some people in the forums complain of a coated tongue when they are on the cleanse. That hasn't happened to me, thank goodness.

Wow, amazingly I did not have any dreams of pigging out on food last night. I managed to remember to step on the scale this morning before I did the salt water flush and seven pounds have disappeared since Friday. I tried lime juice instead of the lemon juice today and I really liked it. I'll switch it up between lemonade and limeade to have some variety during this cleanse.

In reading the forums for others who are on the Master Cleanse , I see that a lot of people are saying if you can hang in there until Day 3, you're good to go for the rest of the cleanse. I had no troubles on Day 3, other than the nightmare that I pigged out on food. No hunger pangs or cravings, and I felt well with lots of energy. Day 4, here I come!

Sitting here covered in bug bites, I'm relieved that Fall is fast aproaching. I've been lucky to have evaded bug bites all summer long, except for this weekend. Now I'm here applying calamine lotion to my skin so I don't scratch all my itchy insect bites. There are a lot of them! Prescription for Disaster ? Just heard that between 1997 and 2005 prescription drug use was up by some 90%. This upset me just a little bit. I understand that a good portion of that is because of the aging population and their dependence on painkillers as they grow older. However, I'm not a fan of prescription pills. In my opinion they lead to skin problems and when people tell me they can't use anything on their skin my first inclination is to ask them what prescriptions they're on. I often don't do that because I don't want to be nosy about people's medical conditions, so what I usually do is tell them that some prescription drugs have been known to cause skin problems, which is the absolute truth.I hate to think that people are suffering through all the side effects of these pills and not taking care of their skin the way they should. It's a shame.
