Interesting new movie - Pass It On.
2007-04-04 19:19:00 I stumbled across this movie after an acquaintance of mine emailed to let me know that HE was in it (Brad Hager of CyberWize). As you'll see, it's more than a little bit influenced by The Secret, but in my eyes, that's perfectly alright. The Secret was, and is, great... and I believe there's room for many more movies that explore the mind and its manifestation powers. Hopefully, there may be some experimentation with other kind of movies, outside of the green-screened interview documentary types. The possibilities are virtually endless. As for Pass it On, I've only seen the various trailers they have posted on YouTube, but their interview list is pretty impressive. They've got Brian Tracy (whose Science of Self-Confidence is in my car), The Secret alumnus John Assaraf, Conservative radio host Dennis Prager (?!?!), former CEO of Southwest Airlines Howard Putnam, fitness guru John Abdo, What the Bleep? actress Elaine Hendrix, and many, many more. After I see the whole movi... More About: Movie , Interesting , Inter , Interest , Sting
8 Blogs I Read: Attraction-themed
2007-04-03 16:54:00 One my favorite things about reading other blogs, is finding new blogs that those bloggers blog about (could I use the word 'blog' a few more times?). Most of the time it's just links to stories, and then I explore the whole site after reading the story. But occasionally, they'll just do a list of links, which is nice since they're all in one location. Keeping with that idea, below is a list of blogs/websites I check out regularly (in no particular order) - specifically about the Law of Attraction , or at least having a similar theme. Over the next few weeks, I'll post up other blogs I read with other themes.MindHacks.org - a recent addition, found through the Keeping the Secret blog. I'm somewhat partial to sites with 'hack' in their name.Cyres Matters - the Cyres Cafe sounds interesting, and it looks like they're opening one in Dallas.Cultivate GREATNESS - some great self-help stuff, and articles from many, varied sources.Joe Vitale: Beyond Marketing - from the movie ... I'm a Money Magnet! - ClixSense
2007-04-02 23:06:00 In The Millionaire Mind, we learned that ANY amount of money you receive is great. In fact, Harv tells a story that when he was poor, he would never stoop down to pick up a penny from the street. But now that he's wealthy, he'll literally jump for joy... because any money coming in means MORE money coming in. and if you're happy with the single penny, the universe will just deliver MORE and MORE.Anyway, I was looking around on different blogs about how to make money online. A lot of them had links to Clix Sens e , a site that pays you to view their advertisers' sites. Right now, my account is at $.17 -- and while you may think that's small, I say "I am a money magnet! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!" More About: Money , Ense

Modern-language summary of The Science of Getting Rich
2007-03-31 15:06:00 I noticed a few people coming to Attraction Hacker were coming from KeepingTheSecret.com, who linked to my audio of Esther Hicks on Oprah XM. Then I noticed a post linking to the site MindHacks.org... specifially, an excellent summary of The Science of Getting Rich from February. It constantly amazes me how the universe works. Now I've got two more great blogs added to Google Reader, and some great resources for future posts. More About: Mary , Language , Modern
Linkbait: It worked!
2007-03-31 14:32:00 In a previous post, I discussed how I research the term "linkbaiting". An idea I got after reading this I Help You Blog post. The whole thing was actually kind of Meta, since the only reason I posted the post was to get a link from I Help You Blog, and what better way to get a link than talking about how to get links. Anyway, it worked. I'm even listed at Number 1. On top of that, there are other blogs listed that I probably would've never found otherwise - yet, they're now in my feedreader. Now it's just a matter of time before thousands of people start streaming into my blog and the $$ starts piling in! Mary Poppins and Her Negative Financial Influence.
2007-03-29 18:17:00 The Get Rich Slowly blog has a funny (and insightful) post about the song in Mary Pop pins "Fidelity Fiduciary Bank". After learning Harv Eker's principles of wealth and finances, this song goes right to the heart of what is wrong with our financial mentality. Watch it for yourself:The problem with this scenario, and the movie, is that they only give you TWO choices: money in the bank (bad!) or money to the bird lady (good!). And of course the bankers are all old, stiff, unfun, and greedy... while the bird lady is kind and caring. Well, the one thing they don't put forth is that you can do BOTH!If Michael Banks gives his money to the bird lady, he'll get ONE bag of food and then be BROKE! If he puts the money in the bank, he can get compound interest (or invest in things that offer higher rates) and eventually buy a whole aviary... and maybe even help out the bird lady as well. There is NOT a fine line between being greedy and giving - it's a HUGE line, and if you invest wis... More About: Financial , Pins , Mary Poppins
Esther Hicks on Oprah's XM Radio show.
2007-03-29 16:39:00 Esther Hicks was one of the biggest inspirations behind the making of The Secret. Unfortuantely, she's not included in the most recent DVDs because of a disagreement over it's marketing, but she's been teaching the Law of Attraction for over 20 years, and she (and Abraham) are basically THE experts on it.She'll be on three separate shows, and these are the times:Show Times (Eastern Time):Thursday, March 29th - 4am, 10am, 4pm and 10pmThursday April 5th - 4am, 10am, 4pm, and 10pmThursday April 12th - 4am, 10am, 4pm, and 10pmYou can sign up for a free 3-day trial of XM, to listen to today's show. Send Yourself Future Words of Encouragement
2007-03-27 21:40:00 A couple of weeks ago I posted about Email Scheduler, and its potential use for sending yourself Intention reminders. It's been very nice to get an email every morning with positive thoughts, and a few of my intentions re-visited. The only problem is the site is a bit "clunky" and not very intuitive to use. But now there's a new service....Future Mail is absolutely stunning, easy to use, and just plain simple. No complications at all. Plus, you can actually send your emails to an RSS feed for you blog. So if you wanted to have your intentions in your Google Reader, it would just be a matter of subscribing. More About: Word , Men , Words , Yourself
84. Post linkbait.
2007-03-27 00:26:00 I just recently found the I Help You Blog blog, and the post 101 Great Post ing Ideas That Will Make Your Blog Sizzle has been really helpful on those days where I've gotten poster's block (aka writer's block). Number 84 "Post linkbait" really intrigued me, since I wasn't exactly sure what it was. They link to another blog with a post on 101 Ways to Build Link Popularity but it didn't really address the term "linkbait". Though, the number 1 on that list was interesting:1. Build a "101 list". These get Dugg all the time, and often become "authority documents". People can't resist linking to these (hint, hint). So were both posts simply written as "linkbait", creating some kind of blog-on-blog never-ending fractal of linkbait? Maybe. But my research wasn't done.My next stop was Wikipedia's entry on "link bait", and got this definition:Link bait is any content or feature within a website that somehow baits viewers to place links to it from other websites. Attempts to create lin...
Top 10 Attraction Downloads
2007-03-26 20:23:00 Lists are all the rage on blogs these days, so I put together my Top 10 Attraction Download s . Things that you can download to help with your manifesting and intentions.10. Intention Creator - a program from Joe Vitale that displays daily sayings and reminders about the intentions you input. A couple of caveats before you download though: you have to signup to get the download link, and once you install the program, it will automatically run when you 9. start-up your computer, and there isn't a easy way to disable it. I had to use MSCONFIG, and disable it in the startup menu.9. CDEx - This a great CD-to-MP3 converter. I know a lot of people who are into the LoA probably have a few personal development CDs in their car... with this, you can make them into small-sized mp3s, and put them on your iPod or other mp3 player.8. Kids and the Law of Attraction
2007-03-23 19:22:00 My wife and I were trying to explain to our 10-year old about the Law of Attraction , and coupling it with Harv Eker's idea that your money should work for you, not the other way around. Then we talked about his allowance and what chores he needed to do to get it. His response: "Chores? Why should I work for money? I'm just going to attract it, then put it to work for me."We then, jokingly, explained that if he did that, we would both use the LoA for him to be moneyless and without any new video games... and it would be 2 against 1. He quickly decided that the chores seemed reasonable.Speaking of chores, I found a couple of websites that discuss them very well. First, at ShopWiki, they give some seven ideas on how to keep them fun and focused:Some Basic Tips 1. Crank the music -- Children love music, especially their own tunes. You want to develop positive associations with cleaning. You can encourage that with good tunes. 2. Give options -- Create a thorough list and let y... Attracting Blog Visitors and Ideas.
2007-03-22 18:19:00 One of the biggest hurdles with operating a blog is getting people to visit your site. Hopefully, once they visit, they'll enjoy what they read and come back... or subscribe to your RSS feed. I've been very happy with Attraction Hackers stats, and I'm surprised at how quickly the site has grown. But I'm always looking for new opportunities...As it currently stands, I'm only able to write about one post a day, since my "real" job gets in the way. I want that to change. I'm intending it to change. I've come across so many tools and ideas that make my personal journey with the Law of Attraction so much better, and I want to share. But time is limited. So my intention is to do this full-time, so I can update constantly and spread all the great information I've come across. Now to do this, means I'll have to make money with the blog. There are a few ways to do this:Google Ads - as you can see on the side of the pageSell ads directly or through Blog Ads.Affiliate programs -... More About: Ideas , Idea , Acting , Visitor
Jott +Blogger = jottblogging!
2007-03-21 18:05:00 I've been having way too much fun with Jott. Jott lets you send a voicemail that gets transcribed and then emailed wherever you want it to go. The Attraction possibilities with this are pretty cool. Imagine checking your email in the morning and the first email is some words of encouragement... or a quick bit of advice about focusing on your intentions. In fact, I'm going to set-up my own JottCast, where every evening I call-in 15 seconds of encouraging words, advice, thoughts, or whatever. Then in the morning, I'll have them waiting for me in my inbox. If you'd like to be included on the JottCast, send me an email FROM the email address that you want it sent to. In the subject, just put "Attraction Hacker JottCast"... then email to jottcast[at]attractionhacker [dot] com. (replace the [at] with @ and [dot] with a .)Also, check out my "playing around" with Jottblogging. More About: Blogger , Blogging , Blog , Logger , Blogg

3 Steps to Effectively Use the Law of Attraction
2007-03-19 18:03:00 From Cultivate Greatness, an excellent article titled "The Three Things That You Must Do To Effect ively Use The Law Of Attraction ". The whole thing is a great read, but here's a summary of the steps:Step 1: Accept what you are experiencing now is the result of your emotional response and your previous thinking patterns.Step 2: Decide exactly how you would like it to be.Step 3: Picture and feel the way you would like it to be.I find Step 1 to be the most underused step when utilizing the Law of Attraction . People want to jump right into the "Asking" aspect, but if your previous negative energies aren't cleared out first, you're just going to repeat those same negative patterns. The Law of Attraction does NOT care if you really want something or not, it only responds to the energy you put out into the universe. Let's say, you'd like a new car -- if you're still holding onto resentment or frustration about your current car (or lack of a car), you're still resonating negativity... More About: Action
A Simple System to Gain Financial Freedom
2007-03-16 16:54:00 One thing that is readily apparent when looking at the Law of Attraction, is that EVERYONE wants to attract more money. From The Secret to James Ray's Seminars, most of the focus is about money and wealth. And that is perfectly fine, because the fact is - money means freedom. With more money, we can:donate more to charityspend more time with our familyfocus on our inner-wealthchoose our own futureThe problem is most people never learned how to manage their money, and make it work for them. I've been guilty of that as well. But T. Harv Eker offers a fairly easy and practical solution to working toward financial freedom -- called the "jar" system. The basic principle is to get 6 jars (or any container, really). You label the first as your Financial Free dom Account(FFA), which is money you invest and NEVER touch. The goal is to continually put money in that jar, so that eventually you can live off of the interest alone. The second jar is the Long Term Savings (LTSS). This goes t... More About: System , Simp
Get Focused on Your Intentions.
2007-03-15 18:38:00 (via Lifehacker and GetRichSlowly)CNN has a financial goal-setting tool called The Prioritizer. From the site:...enter as many as 15 different goals to which you or your family aspire. Goals can be short-term, such as "Taking a great vacation this summer," or long-term like "Securing a comfortable retirement." The calculator will then ask you a series of questions that force you to choose between each possible pair of goals. Based on your answers, it will then compute a preference score for each goal and an overall rank order for the list. The moment I saw this I thought, "this would be GREAT for intentions!" So many times, we'll have LOTS of intentions we want to manifest, and it helps to focus on only one or two at a time. With this method, you could type them all in, and get a prioritized list. In fact, CNN suggests that you could use it for any type of decision-making such as which type of car to buy.I had created a similar program after seeing Janet Attwood speak about The P... Law of Attraction podcast roundup
2007-03-14 19:07:00 When I first started getting into the Law of Attraction and the philosophies behind it, one of the first things I did was search for podcasts about it on iTunes. It was a bit more difficult than I thought it would be. I was surprised to find precisely TWO podcasts dealing with the Law of Attraction, though there are plenty on meditation and yoga and the like. In fact, even now, those two are the only ones regularly updated.Law of Attraction Tips hosted by Karen LuniwThis podcast was started in December 2006, and looks to be updated monthly. This has been the #1 iTunes podcast in the Health/Self-Help section for a while and rightfully so. Her last few shows have been wonderful and full of great information and encouragement. The show lengths are around 15 to 20 minutes, which for me is perfect, since I listen in my car during my commute. She's currently going through the "5 Steps of Attracting What you Want", with the March 4th show being about Step 2, Knowing What you Do Want.... Remembering Other People's Info.
2007-03-13 17:24:00 One great aspect of the Law of Attraction is the idea of increasing positivity in your life. Part of that is increasing the number of positive people in your life. But if you're anything like me, it takes about 2000 times before you can fully commit someone else's full name or kids' names or phone number to memory. So Travis at Cultivate GREATNESS uploaded a handy Excel spreadsheet where he keeps track of people's important dates and information:This excel document is perfect, as it keeps track of everyone?s phone number, address, birthday, profession, their spouse and kids, if they have them. With everyone out there having a cellphone, myself included, I don?t know over half of my friends and family?s phone numbers! So, this thing will act as a great backup tool to keep track of your numbers, and help you become a hero to everyone when you remember them on their special day!And if you want to keep that list online, it's really easy to import it to a Google spreadsheet, then y... Free financial advice
2007-03-12 18:25:00 T. Harv Eker is a Canadian who made his millions selling fitness equipment in Vancouver. Soon after, he left his business and started up a training program for other business people. Today, he's got a lot of courses and seminars that he charges top dollar for... but he also has a lot of cheap and free information available. The only thing that's required is an e-mail to register, and if you don't want to give out your email, you can use a service like Mailinator, SpamBob, PookMail, or MyTrashMail. One of the free things you can go to is the Millionaire Mind Evening. The whole point of the 3 hour presentation is to convince you to go to the Millionaire Mind Intensive, but they give out lots of free financial info while they're doing it. Also, if there isn't an event close to you, you can dial-in to the Millionaire Mind teleSeminar... which is also designed to get you to the full weekend event, but also full of great free info. And if you decide to do the whole weekend thing, ... Automatic intention reminders
2007-03-09 21:42:00 If you're anything like me, you have moments or days where it just seems too difficult to keep up the law of attraction work. Of course, by those thoughts, you're just CREATING more difficulty... but sometimes, you may just need a little "pick-me-up". That's where Email Scheduler comes in.The design and interface of the site might be a little confusing at first, but the functionality is great. You input the email address you want to send to, enter the time and date you want it sent, and submit. When the time comes, the email is sent out without you having to do any more.On days that I'm resonating particularly well with the law of attraction, I'll set up 10 or 15 emails to myself with sayings and thoughts that are encouraging. That way, I get an email everyday with positive energy, and if I'm not in a good place -- it helps bring me back to positivity. As far as what to put in the email... it could be anything, as long as it's positive. Manifesting & The 3 Requisites For Change
2007-02-22 16:56:00 How do you manifest faster, get more of what you want and stop manifesting what you don't want? The best way to speed up your manifesting ability is to raise your vibration. Now obviously you're manifesting all the time - we all are. Every single thought, spoken or written word is manifested. So what you need to do is follow what we call the 3 requisites for change. First you need to clear up anything that's holding you back from having what you want. Get your mind in the right place, so the action you take doesn't conflict with your deepest desires (especially the ones you aren't even aware of). Secondly you need to take action towards what you want, rather than away from it and thirdly you need to maintain your focus on what you want. The first requisite will help you raise your vibration and clear the filters you perceive the world through. So this involves clearing up all your past emotional baggage around that specific area. So if we take the example of money, do you feel ang... More About: Change , Site , Sites , Mani , Fest
Law Of Attraction: The Driving Force Behind All Success And Failure
2007-02-08 20:53:00 Dear Success Seeker,First of all, I hope you're having a fantastic day. I know you've had some really good things happen in your life already today. I also realize there's a good chance you've been a little bruised and banged up by life's ups and downs. What can I say: life happens. But to leave it at that and not probe deeper into the mystery of yourself? That's a mistake. It's a mistake because whether you realize it or not, you're constantly creating your life. Take it or leave it...that's how it is.To better understand this, let's look at a principle taken directly from the 'Limitless Wealth Success System'PAGE 21"He ceased to fight for anything, knowing, as he looked back over his life, that resistance and resentment create an energy which is always destructive and that it is far better to let go of everything which can be held only under the "Law of Force " and use the energy toward creating something else under the "Law of Harmonious Attraction ." Attention & Intention - The Magic Combination To Fulfill Your Dreams
2007-01-10 22:49:00 How do wealthy people create their wealth? For most of us it seems like magic; and many actually think that there must be a secret formula involved. In our western world, we are conditioned to always believe that the most complicated solution must be true. That's why you see the word "easy" in many advertisements. "Easy," because with all the high tech stuff around us, life has not become easier at all. However, life itself is actually easy, and very simple. What it makes complicated is our perceptions and conclusions. The same is true with manifesting wealth in your life. If you follow simple steps, you will create wealth in your life. The challenge is that we have forgotten to think in an easy way. Our mind comes up with the most deluded stories to justify why others have wealth and abundance, and we don't.To create wealth and abundance in your life begin with one simple step: believe that it is possible for you to have it!Think about how much time you spend during your day to ach...
