Clorox to Acquire Burt's Bees?
2008-01-02 07:42:00 This might be old new to some as the press release came out on Oct 31st, 07, but I just saw the press release after I was checking out Clorox ?s new line of Green household cleaner, Green Works. Green is in and it?s no surprise that Clorox would want to jump on the bandwagon and make some green (money) off going green. While I do think the Green Works line is a great idea, I?m sure I will try it out; I just don?t know what I think of Clorox owning Burt ?s Bees . Washing your hair with out Shampoo?
2007-11-30 19:34:00 Skincare and makeup can be loaded with toxins and shampoo is no exception to that, but natural or organic shampoo can be costly. I may have found a solution to that. Over on the ?Making by Saving? forums the ladies where discussing how to wash your hair with out shampoo. Apparently this method saves you money and makes your hair healthier. From what I understand you simply rinse your hair out with hot water, then brush with a boar hair brush to work your natural oils in to your hair. Then 2 or 3 times a week make a paste of backing soda and water and work that in your wet hair, rise out and follow with a rinse of vinegar. So I looked online to see what where good ingredients to help with chapped, dry lips. I found out that petroleum was very good for dry lips, but petroleum is not something that I like. It?s Coconut Nectar Lip Butter by Sephora I never planned on using it because I?m more into natural lip balms. I only bought it because it was $2 and I needed to spend $2 to get free shipping. So when my friend invited me over to her place for a Sensaria Spa Party I jumped on it! If you really think you need foundation try using a loose mineral type. It lets you skin breath and your natural beauty shine. If you wear a lot of eye makeup try toning it down. Skip the eyeliner and just were one light eye shadow and maybe a bit of mascara if you really want to. Now is the time to stop using the heavy lipstick, try a nice light lip gloss or a tinted lip balm. It goes on smooth but not greasy and has a nice tingle from the Peppermint Oil, but the best part about it is how soft my lips feel after I use it!
