How is everyone?s weekend going so far? I?m in the midst of a fibro flare up so I?m bitchy, achy, tired, and did I mention bitchy? lol Monkeyboy knows just the right things to say though. This is the conversation we had earlier?Monkeyboy- "Mommy, you are very important to me".Mom- "I am? Why am I important to you"? Monkeyboy- "Because I love you very very much and you are the best mommy ever". Mom- "Thank you and you are the best Monkeyboy ever". Monkeyboy- "And you love me"? *Update- She's gone. Patsy passed away around 9:30 eastern time this evening, Sunday. Her breathing slowed and she was gone within a few minutes. She was wrapped in love, to be sure.A very special mama from a few of the parenting boards I use to frequent might be losing her fight with lung cancer tonight- Patsy.She has always been a bright light on the mama boards and despite being dealt such a crappy hand (the cancer) she has been such an upbeat person through her struggles.Patsy has seven children and they just really need their mama for awhile longer so please pray, keep her in your thoughts, light a candle, or whatever it is you may do in times of need for her. Well isn't this just lovely? According to MSNBC and Listerine they are recalling every single bottle of Agent Cool Blue that was sold (in both flavors) which big suprise comes to 4 million bottles of the stuff. Sadly, this stuff has been dentist recommended the whole time it's been out so you can imagine what some dental professionals must be thinking about this. The recall says though that Agent Cool Blue hasn't made anyone sick...yet... well gee, thanks for that. As if the idea of turning our kids' teeth blue in order to supposedly help them brush better wasn't enough. Now I'm glad I did because it was a lot of fun looking at all the cool prizes they have.From what I gathered on their FAQ's page, all you do is register and then go wild sending texts from your cell phones to place your bids for whatever prizes you are wanting. If you're a regular blogger then you probably know about the Technorati Faves link-train-thingie-muh-jigger going around and that tons of people are joining it. If you think this is a post about joining the fun then you might as well leave now. There are no train tickets here I'm afraid and in fact, I'm quickly becoming very anti-Tech Fave train.There are several ways that this "train" works. People leave comments or post about it, list blogs/add them to their Technorati faves, and then the blog owner recipricates. Today is National Spank Out Day which means all those opposed to violence against children and spanking in general come together to try to bring an end to the pain being brought to our kids. Let me just set the scene for you. It?s almost dinner time and Mom is washing her hands in the kitchen sink before preparing the food. Nothing abnormal about that since she always TRIES to be a good Mommy and teach hygiene even to three little heathens.Suddenly, the youngest child notices three new ?booboos? on Mommy?s fingers. First of all, how do you like the new three column layout? It took me two full days to figure it out but FINALLY here it is.
