They come to a busy intersection, and the dog, ignoring the high volume of traffic zooming by on the street, leads the blind man right out into the thick of traffic. 2008-01-11 04:17:00 Well, it's been a very different week. Last Friday there was a storm that blew through California and it was a good one. We made it through the day without losing power and we were very thankful for that.We had company for dinner and I left the computer and enjoyed my evening. Our company left and then I came back into my office to see that I no longer had a DSL connection. I've been watching the ACT light for a week now and every time I ran diagnostics it failed. Well, except for a few minutes ago. I have over 100 email messages and it's going to take me some time to weed through those. I also have 533 posts to attend to in my Google reader. Sorry, but I'm going to mark all as read and start over tomorrow. So, I'm back.I will warn everyone that we are changing our DSL to AT&T on Monday. The run around we got was unbelievable. 2008-01-03 18:19:00 I've sure gotten old. I've had 2 By-pass surgeries. A hip replacement, new knees. Fought prostate cancer, and diabetes.I'm half blind, can't hear anything quieter than a jet engine, take 40 different medications that make me dizzy, winded, and subject to blackouts.Have bouts with dementia. Have poor circulation, hardly feel my hands and feet anymore. Can't remember if I'm 85 or 92. Have lost all my friends.But... Thank God, I still have my Florida driver's license!I see you!
