Need HELP with your trucker box?
2007-07-08 17:56:00 Please read all of these instructions first before you start your install! The TSS Series box was built with you in mind. It is the easiest way for you to finish your box, installing your own equipment professionally. We have done all of the hard work for you. Most of the wiring is done. Install your CB Radio and install the Stereo and Speakers and you are ready to connect the antennas to the out side and you are done. No matter which version you have just received, they all have certain aspects in common. The power is dropped off for the CB Radio. Check for a plug 3pin version to plug into your CB. We have used a heavy duty version and it will have a 5 amp fuse in it. If your specific CB draws more current you will need to upgrade this fuse. Check your old power plug you are now using. 2007-06-22 14:17:00 Information obtained from: logisticstoday For those who think the shortage of truck drivers is overstated, the American Trucking Associations (ATA) has a new study, based on statistical analysis, that indicates the U.S. is currently short of 20,000 drivers. If current trends continue, the same report predicts that the shortage of long-haul, heavy-duty truck drivers in the U.S. could reach as high as 111,000 by the year 2014. Of the 3.4 million truck drivers on the road, 1.3 million are long-haul truckers, the driver segment said to be the most severely impacted by the shortage. Although the ATA says the current driver shortage is 20,000 drivers, it seems even larger to the industry because of a high degree of driver "churning," or moving from carrier to carrier. Large truckload carriers reported an average annual turnover of 121% last year.
