As we all know to start a blog is easy, but maintaining it with regular posting, is a headache to many. You can see many of them striving arduously to come out with a new post each time. Particularly, if you are squeezed within the confines of your niche. Take for example, those writing on marketing and building business. They are still talking about the red tape, goal setting, believe in yourself and cliche like the customer is always right. In fact they don't have to spin out so many posts on these topics. You can get all these and more in one single book. Same goes for blogs on copywriting and those on personal development. But because they have to fill up their blogs with "new" posts regularly to keep the blog alive, many of them have suffered writer's block or their readers have to suffer reading their rehashed or pedestrian posts. Yes, what I'm trying to say here is, you merely write for your readers. So, you should know what is appropriate or useful to your readers. The kind of language used and you should also know the levels of tolerance. Recently John Cow used the word "CUNT" in its post title and it caused a furor among some of his readers. The next time when you yourself actually have nothing to blog about, you brazenly advise other bloggers what to do when they have nothing to blog about!Firstly, you got yourself out of blogger's block and got yourself a new post. Voila! Secondly, you don't have to cudgel your already beaten-up brains. Do the obvious. Write a List. Coming out a List is the easiest option to overcome blogger's block. Many blog-worn bloggers do it all the time. So, you don't have to worry yourself sick of coming out another lenghty post. Instead, now you appear as if you are doing other bloggers a big favor; offering advice or tips on what to do when they have nothing to blog. Despite their strong numbers, the average life span of a blog is merely three months and shrinking daily, according to Gartner, a research firm.This was reported in CIO Today. As you can see millions of blogs have suffered from prematured death. No blog is spared. From the newbies to the top echelon of bloggers, they are all falling by the wayside. The obvious symptoms are writer's block, blog burnout, keep writing similar posts and resorting to content copying. Ultimately, they have to put their blogs away. So, be prepared.
