Prada Spring-Summer 2008 Ad Campaign
2008-05-27 18:01:00 This ad campaign is the second on my list of the best ad campaigns for Spring -Summer 2008 (The first is Lanvin's). Muccia's muse Sasha Pivovarova stars this season's campaign and I'm not that surprised. When I saw this ad at Elle UK February 2008, I was like "Wow, this looks good. Oh, it's Sasha... again"; people say that Muccia is overusing Sasha and it's always her in almost every campaign but I can't imagine anyone else doing Prada . You can see many Sasha's in one photo (now, I'm convinced that she's overused). Anyway, these ads are so totally gorgeous. Lanvin Ad Campaign Spring-Summer 2008

Lanvin's Spring 2008 collection was critiqued as the best collection ever designed by Alber Elbaz for the said fashion house. Long, flowing gowns and short ruffled dresses starred the show, embellished frocks and colorful designs led the audience into a world of fantasy.That is the same idea for the ad campaign; Olga Sherer prancing around a surreal landscape filled with giant flowers, her gown blown by some invisible wind. The effect is fantastic, mysterious and sophisticated. When I first saw this ad at Vogue US January 2008, I literally gasped! The more you look at the ad, it seems like it's enticing you to enter their world. Creepy but stunning. I totally like Olga's body language.
