I was on this thing called meebo today, for some reason I couldnt get onto msn so I use that, and it works (dont ask me how). Morning! Well after a interesting night out where I spent almost all the night with Tiff, a nice romantic night in hospital Im back and still a bad ass… As for the title, I have to keep this short. Only 2 people have showed up for work out of 7 (2 being on holiday and the other 3 just suck eggs) and it doesnt help that I still little to no clue about all the complicated stuff… like how to fix a server or… how to plug in a mouse… or how to use a keyboard… Im currently using my mind to write this (if you cant tell the last 2 items were a joke, I know how some people seem to forget that I joke around and believe everything I say) WARNING: This post may contain a trace of nuts

A few years back I went to New York with the family and a friend (go dadswell) and we stayed in a nice little hotel in Queens, I had been to America twice before I went to New York and had some clue of what to expect whereas Dadswell had no clue and expected it was ok to walk around at 3am near the dodgy places in NYC… on his own. Bless his little cottons! Anyway whilst we were over there we went with this company called Trusted Toures & Attractions, we only went for a small package which involved a sort of taxi ride around NYC taking us to all the major sites, got a nice Trusted Travel eNewsletter with it. Must admit, the most somber moment of the hole trip was ground zero. It was hard to believe that a few years back that 2 mighty towers, 2 beacons of the Wests shining hopes and dreams that one day we would all be that rich, had once stood. Paid Post! my arse! www.st-evo.com As you must have noticed by now I have cut down radically on how many paid posts I do on here, in a way out of choice as I really dont want to waste my lunch break making £7.50, I am really just waiting for the time when PPP removes Page rank from their listings, like the 1000’s of people out their affected by google my page rank (as said before) has been reset to 0. Why? Because of paid posts, the question I ask is why? I can understand if it violated a major artical in the usage of google, but google sells links in theory, google makes money off of compaines etc etc. The question I ask is: If bloggers have been slapped with a reset due to paid posts whats happend to the companies which used companies such as PPP? Answer: As far as I know, nothing. I have checked a number of the companies ive posted for, all still sitting on PR4 - 6. Morning all. Missed a few days here, currently trying to get work back on track after a massive f*ck up with the systems in which I screamed: WHICH WIRE DO I CUT! Anyway, thats a story for another day, many people might be wondering what the name of the post is all about…well… its a song by megadeath, Im currently sitting in one of the many (5) IT rooms in the college I work for reimaging 10 machines, the only one working is this one, takes about 6mins per machine…. so I multi task, thankfully it only gives more of a chance of timing out not currupting the file as its done of many different Novell servers (netware!). After this I need to set up about 12 people for groupwise which is a e-mail client. Takes all of 2 mins to set up, its just the fact that 99% of the people who want groupwise also want to keep their old e-mails, so I have to look into 4000+ e-mails per person and transfer ones over which are needed and not spam, this would be made easier by a rule (...

Yes, random name I know, hi all. Im currently really pissed off (back to swearing again on this site), sent Martin (one of the people I work with) to get me some coke from ASDA, he came back with a 6 pack of the glass bottles. I love the glass bottles, tastes so much nicer, but alas… No bottle opener, after loosing one bottle to the desk (tried opening it by hitting it against the desk and clipping the cap but it exploded) and after forcing one open with my teeth (now in pain) I just had one… they dont last long… bugger. Morning all, I have updated the site with some better running scripts, but I had to say a few things, first of all I have added a site wide disclosure and also a disclaimer which really doesnt cover me for anything, but oh well. Browsing the internet is always fun, and as you know by now I really want a plasma TV, who doesnt right? Well, today I just typed in plasma storage on google for a laugh (we can all dream) and plasma lift came up, now I know what your thinking (yes I read minds too): “plasma lift?” Thats right, I had no idea either, so I clicked on and saw some products, dissapointed at the look I almost left, never to return, but something told me to click on one. After rushing about trying to find out why my page rank has been reset I noticed a few posts on the net from people in my situation…. I say a few… I’d say about 90% of the PPP community have been affected, having their page rank reset to 0. This is to counter act fraud and… fish men? We seriously dont know. But they have decided they will be releasing a brand new way to measure stuff (for example people going to the site and voting? - Yes because that wont get people with dynamic IP’s having fun will it?). “the Google Toolbar version 4.2 which will be used to roll out “VR” (visitor rating). Morning all, another post called GAH, thats right, I need sleep. I’ll edit this later, Im gonna go lay down Edit: After finally waking up and doing some work, I decided to update the site with the latest wordpress (wooo) I have been trying out some widgets but Im not liking them at the moment. Have added a sort of “counter” but it tracks how many people are looking at the site (different to the how many are subscribed to my RSS). It was touch and go for about 20 minutes as I was under the impression I had deleted the config file meaning I would have lost my SQL password, which wouldnt have been fun at all. Morning all, start to my second week at my new job. Currently have my ex house mate (soon to be house mate again) screaming at his computer, good stuff. Just wrote a 400 word post on loans (cos I want to get paid more) and they withdrew the request, but meh. After Saturdays defeat to the hands of Villa (yet again) Derby County’s future isnt looking to good. I have started to get back into football after the shocking defeat’s in the Euro 2008 tourny (England should have done better). I stumbled apon Aston Villa FC the other day, a good looking site for a very good team, now I cant name them all off by heart but a few members of the family support them and watching them play is a good day out.
