Do drivers have any idea?
2008-05-19 12:36:00 So there I was driving back home along the motorway and I noticed some really stupid drivers, for those living outside the UK, you are not supposed to use your mobile, eat, drink or do anything taht will not distract you from driving, anyway, here's a list of things we saw while coming home.14 using a mobile phone.6 using a mobile phone and eating a sandwich.2 shaving while alos on the mobile phone1 signing paperwork and a mobile phone tucked into his shoulder/neck.1 reading what looked like a childrens book to his kids in the back seat!.Go figure, especially the one reading a book to his kids, people really need to understand that doing 70mph while reading a book is just plain stupid!Oh and by the way, thanks to my passenger for counting these idiots and making notes, next time I think we should photo them and add them to a website for shaming bad drivers!!! A Warning on Comparison websites
2008-03-21 12:33:00 So there I was yesterday on uswitch looking for a quote on changing home insurance, a not to be made is that I didn't sign anything and didn't ask for any info to be sent to my home address etc.But lo and behold today the phone has rang several times from an automated system, which turns out to be from the company involved with the uswitch website.The number is Caller: 01782793400 so if you get this number and answer the phone, 9 times out of 10 the phone will go dead, this is a pure annoyance and these idiots should abide by privacy rules, suffice to say if they do carry on then I will be straight to the phone companies complaints commission to do something about them! 2008-03-12 13:18:00 It's really funny that around where I live, you can certainly be sure that come March the roads start to get dug up!It must be the end of a financial year for the local councils and they pull all the stops out and dig up roads that don't even need digging up.For example, I took a trip to the hospital this morning and they had cones on the motorway, no one working though, traffic lights with the road dug up in the most awkward of places and bot many people working at them.It must be a council thing to turn round and say, "I Know! let's dig up the roads and annoy everyone! I hear you say, well just Why really, it can have so many conatations to a question or even a bewildered comment, but all the same it comes down to the same thing "Why".Ok so I'm having a complete bonkers rant, but why? More articles from this author:2007-10-03 15:11:00 Well, there I was today travelling along in my car when I started getting closer to the car in front, at first glance it looked like the car was driving itself, amazing, but upon over taking the very slow car, I noticed in the drivers seat a little old man, probably in his late 80s early 90s just peeping his head over the steering wheel, saying that I could just notice the top of his head at the bottom of the driver's window.What I think is bizzare is the how the hell does he see over the streeing wheel to see where he's going, but after all, he was doing around 15mph in a 50mph area...
