So be it
Effectivem...
Grève des transports
2007-10-19 07:44:00 I found VOX. For now, I'm testing it. It seems preetty nice for now. I'm blogging in French for now over there. Blogger is nice, but it seems to be too er... how could I say that? cheap? As though I was condamned to be alone. hum hum. Well. At any rate, the best blogging plateforme is still blogger for easier.Phew. Mai... More About: Ports , Tran

The Tao of Gaming
2007-10-07 13:09:00 You are a banlieue layabout, face it.No?Everything is damn boring to you. When the pub at the station is closed you are enclosed outside. There is perhaps the theater to save you from the daily routine: the theater with the loosy American shitty action films you have already seen twice the same day. Otherwise you can go out shopping, splurging the fucking money (of your parents) on ludicrous clothes. Maybe you'd prefer wandering in town with some other layabout peers. What about staying at home watching the box? You know, the little black box with stupid 3 hours long TV reality shows. There are lots of entertainments all around your little rat (ass)hole. Playing the 18 holes of golf, playing tennis or joining any sport club you like. Having sex with friends at parties, reading books about esoteric sciences, drinking and get drunk, going to the restaurant (to drain your (parents') money) and all. You can also go to the museum and try to understand how the universe was created or to ... More About: Gaming
split of personality
2007-10-05 21:14:00 I subscribed to BlogCatalog today, and ran into this blog's post.A part of me wants to:mock severely at the superficiality of the reflexion and the ludicrous biblical references, and note down how idiotic the ratiocination is. Perhaps a superiority complex or anythingor to ignore the postThe other part of me wants to:give very briefly my povor to ignore the postThe best solution is to ignore the post. It's what I do 9 times on 10. I feel like fleeing or putting back the problem. I don't know what persona to adopt. Switching between the two is weird. I was used to doing it but most of the time it ends up with conflicts between friends who accept the different parts of my personality. What's more, it's a pain to manage that double persona. It's probable that this kind of a behaviour is a by-product of my education. In this blog, I don't know what to do. Being mean? I am not always mean; I'm not always wise either. IRL, I'm trying to joke a little when I'm mean to hide the fir... More About: Personality , Split , Ality
Bloggers' ambitions (read: dreams)?
2007-10-05 11:22:00 What's annoying with the RSS it's you can't really see the design of the blog you are reading. This morning, I found myself reading a blog I don't like much because I thought it was a blog I enjoy. As a result, I read the whole article.Consequences:makes me lose my timeupsets me when I notice it was a RSS I have forgotten to deleteFortunately, it still gives me the occasion to make a post on it. Crisis of confidence
2007-10-05 00:55:00 I never read posts of which the title is 'Assorted Links' (Tyler Cowen) or 'FREAK-est Links' (Steven Levitt + Stephen Dubner). For the 'Assorted Links' titles are like life--and life is like a box of chocolates... you never know what you're gonna get. With the proliferation of information, a web surfer never have the time to check all the updates of his RSS feeds. No matter how interesting the links are. Basically, these kind of links are junkies or little piece of information that do not require an entire note for themselves. I go to McDonald's not because their hamburgers are better than anywhere else but because I know that they sell safe stuffs. McAnthraxBurgers (a fictional McDonald's like) may sell better burgers, it won't be my first choice.Err. There is something else I would like to talk about. First of all it's a very beautiful screensaver by PixelBreaker--I use it myself. And secondly it's a blog called BIZ-THINK by Ernie A. Cevallos. Thanks to Google Analytic... Is there a tangible reason?
2007-10-04 00:13:00 Why the hell am I trying to fix this blog layout? There is no reason to have a good design, isn't it? Still, I want the design to be nice. Don't dress smart unless you have a master degree
2007-10-03 21:53:00 I have often been thinking that intelligent persons should wear clothes that make them look intelligent, else it would be awkward. What's in your brain is almost like your hair color, it should match the rest of you.During this holidays, I met a very elegantly dressed man, perfectly cut black jacket, light violet shirt, thin black tie. Well, he looked a lot like Jude Law in the stupid film Alfy. So it was in the subway, he was sitting next to me reading Le Parisien. It was a bit bizarre. Then I heard him talking. He was on phone, and spoke like a teen. He talked of triviality--that seems very significant to him: he was wondering why MONEO didn't work in France. He definitely didn't know why it didn't still, he was wondering. It really broke everything you know. Dress ing very smart and talking like a fucking idiot. It just wouldn't do. That's probably why I am trying not to dress too well. Not confident enough.ps. I'm not saying that M. Figueras is a dumbass. More About: Smart , Master , Degree , Mast
Dang! (bad news)
2007-10-03 21:25:00 I just received a SMS from a friend of mine. News from a 3rd year student in bi-licence eco-anglais. This year, she applied for a master degree at Paris-X Nanterre--which is not a bad university. Nevertheless, I thought that she could enter something better. A bi-licence is a harsh degree course. You are preparing two diplomas at the same time, and as both licences (BAs) are equivalent. As a result, each licence is especially hard to get. Actually, they don't want you to have a licence in economics just because you have very high marks in English. So economics courses are hard enough that you can't compensate English for economics. Same reasoning for the English diploma, they don't want you to get your licence thanks to economics only. In the end, economics and English are both very hard courses. Bi-licence is really a pain in the ass, and I thought we could get a master degree in a better university thanks to it. What's more to enter that dual BA you need to pass an English tes... Dirty Conscience
2007-10-03 19:41:00 Dirty Conscience is an amateur video game project I joined as a teenager. At that time, it was still very tiny. The scenario, the character designs etc. were made by one only guy.Now it has changed quite a lot. The 3D graphic artists are pros or students in art, the sounds are made by a group. Look what it is now. Honestly, I have never thought it could have changed so much.Same for Son of Destiny. It was a larger project, I did several BG and monster designs--unlike at DC where I only made one BG painting. It is cool to see your rough sketches, reworked, inked and coloured. They don't always give me the credits though. Well, it doesn't mind. These things are so old to me. Still, it's pleasing to see what we considered old is still topical for the others. My very old SP, with all the mistakes uncorrected. Perspective, colours, lighting etc. I was already aware of these mistakes but decided not to review them. It was not a serious-enough work. Damn. Was I already so arrogant? More About: Dirty

2007-10-03 13:44:00 I'm planning to make forty or something canvases to mark the end of my art adventure. Let me list what I'll be painting:1. Leda and the Swan; 2. A portrait (done); 3. A design of a retro video game hero; 4. A complex interior architecture; 5. A passage of the Greek/Nordic mythology; 6. A short series of sketches.I'd like to make a sort of showcase some day. I know lots of crappy artists who are still able to have their works published. Or at worst, I'll only let my portfolio online like Ben.More info when I'll have more ideas :)Progress: 2.3%Here' the 2. A portrait

Forget about appearance
2007-10-03 13:26:00 I have always had that shame to show how fond of Internet I am. The first thing I do when I wake up (9:AM) is to open my computer. The latter is on until 1:00 AM*. I spend most of my time in front of a comp.Usually, I try to program my posts to show that I'm not all day long in front of the computer. Yet, I'll change that habit. I won't fear what I really am. In other words, I will certainly flood a little this little blog--with that kind of useless posts.Trivias:this post it's the fifth post.it's 1:33 PM and I still have not do the cookingI'm on Internet since 4.5 hours *during holidays More About: Appearance

Innovate or revamp?
2007-10-03 12:23:00 It will certainly sound a little awkward but I really like the design of the blog Chic&Style. There is nothing special in fact, but I like the typos, the colours and that is enough to make me fall in love with a design. There are plenty of nice blog themes (cf. the WP ones), however they is always something that bother me--especially the colours. They do not match or have an undeniable lack of style. Too common, too geek perhaps.Nerdy, design, classic, modern, geek etc. Our tastes depend so much on our environments and they reveal so much about our personality.ps. So I'll give you mine. Those who cannot speak should think instead of getting angryAnd always be (look) happy while doing your tasksThinking that we are always wrong is a way to improve ourselfGo to sleep in the toilets if you need to but never show your tirednessIf he wants you to repeat, repeat.Disagree leads to tensionHe is very sensitive on that point, bewareHe hates it. Would you escape your fate?
2007-10-02 15:20:00 My younger bro and my father are having very energetic quarrels. My bro is a bloody annoying damn guy. He always wants to contradict people, even if he is wrong. On the other hand, my father is a guy who can stand anything at all. Above everything he can't stand losing a single millimetre of his very cumbersome face. The bad point when those two are arguing is that both of them always think that they are never wrong. None of these two would ever admit that they are wrong, even though they definitely are. Consequently, when the two dudes start to yell at each other, we are pretty sure that the quarrel will last for several days. My bro is the kind of boy that speak very coarsely with no respect nohow to the person to whom he is addressing. Needless to tell you that the clash are other spectacular. Nevertheless, no matter how wrong my father is, he will always be right--righter than the rightness of my bro. When father wants to be right, he is right. There is no point arguing w...
