It's rare to find kosher ham. Rarer still to find it carbonated and bottled.Jones Soda Co., the Seattle-based purveyor of offbeat fizzy water, said Friday that it was shelving its traditional seasonal flavors of turkey and gravy this year to produce limited-edition theme packs for Christmas and Hanukkah.The Christmas pack will feature such flavors as Sugar Plum, Christmas Tree, Egg Nog and Christmas Ham. The Hanukkah pack will have Jelly Doughnut, Apple Sauce, Chocolate Coins and Latkes sodas."As always, both packs are kosher and contain zero caffeine," a Jones news release noted.The packs will go on sale Sunday, with a portion of the proceeds to be given to charity, the company said.Jones' products feature original label art and frequently odd flavors. AMSTERDAM, Netherlands - Thousands of bananas washed up on two Dutch North Sea islands on Wednesday after at least six containers fell off a cargo ship in a storm and at least one burst open, a local official said. "I think everybody on the island has a bunch now," said Gossen Buren, a shipping official at the local lighthouse.A half-mile stretch of beach on Terschelling island, 70 miles north of Amsterdam, was littered with bunches of unripe fruit from Cuba, Buren said. November 08, 2007 Vernon, N.J. - A brawny thief smashed through a minivan’s window yesterday, took the vehicle on a short ride and dumped it on the side of the road before fleeing on foot into the woods, township police said.Police have described the suspect as a black bear.About 2 a.m., Patrolman David Dehardt noticed the 2004 Mazda minivan parked on the side of the road in the Highland Lakes section of the township. Dehardt investigated and took detailed notes to describe the crime scene: paw marks on the windshield, bear drool on the cloth interior, claw marks on torn-off door panels, black hair on the seats and countless candy wrappers in and out of the minivan.Based on his investigation, Dehardt developed a theory. The bear broke the window to steal a bag of Halloween candy and dislodged the parking brake, sending the minivan about 40 feet down a driveway and onto the road. Dehardt followed a trail of candy wrappers into the woods, but was unable to locate the suspect.

And Hilton is now urging Indian residents to lock up their booze. "There would have been more casualties if the villagers hadn't chased them away. And four elephants died in a similar way three years ago. It is just so sad.  The elephants get drunk all the time. It is becoming really dangerous. Producers of the new Star Trek movie are to hold an open casting session for people with "unique" features to appear as extras in the film.The studio said it was interested in people with unique characteristics like "long necks, small heads, bug eyes, large foreheads and oversized ears". MANSON, Wash. -- A Chelan County fire chief says a couple were lucky they weren't killed by a cow that fell off a 200-foot cliff and smashed their minivan. District 5 Chief Arnold Baker says they missed being killed by a matter of inches Sunday as they drove on Highway 150 near Manson.The 600-pound cow fell about 200 feet and landed on the hood of the minivan carrying Charles Everson Jr. and his wife Linda of Westland, Mich., who were in the area celebrating their one-year wedding anniversary. They were checked at Lake Chelan Community Hospital as a precaution. The van was heavily damaged, including a broken windshield. Charles Everson says he kept repeating, "I don't believe this. I don't believe this."

johnny loved this show and gives it 5 stars.  check it out.It took years, but Paramount has finally released the definitive Twin Peaks complete series box set that will appease both noobs and hard-core fans. Loaded with all 29 episodes, plus the original and European versions of the pilot, David Lynch's network TV entry is a must-own.The show centers around Laura Palmer, a popular high-school student found murdered, and the ensuing investigation by FBI Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan), who learns this seemingly perfect small town in Washington State holds an unlimited supply of dark secrets. Each episode has an intro from the Log Lady (some boring old woman who carries a log like a baby), plus there are deleted scenes, some retrospective documentaries, and a ton of other extras perfect for the obsessive Peaks freak in your life.There hasn't been a show as creepy, surreal, or original since, so brew up some coffee, grab some cherry pie, and get comfy, 'cause you...

A Chicago-area mother reports that the supposedly new Zune she bought her 12-year-old daughter for Christmas was stuffed with pornography, specifically "a homosexual orgy they had videotaped for an hour and 44 minutes."The mom is pretty certain the player, which she purchased from a nearby Wal-Mart, was an unmarked returned unit. Doctors have long argued about the health effects of coffee, but its reputation seems likely to receive a boost thanks to a flavoured condom that aims to encourage safer sex in Ethiopia. Around 300,000 of the coffee condoms were sold in a week when they were launched in September, according to the US charity DKT International. It hopes to tap into Ethiopia's coffee mania as a means to tackle high rates of HIV in the country, which is said to have invented the drink.The condoms are sold in packs of three for 1 birr, or about about half the price of a cup of coffee in Addis Ababa's cafes, and much cheaper than most other condom brands. The dark brown condoms are made to smell like Ethiopia's popular macchiato, an espresso with a generous amount of cream and sugar.
