One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest
2008-01-16 01:47:00
In keeping with yesterday?s blog entry: cue in the ?Twilight Zone? music?..Buzz, buzz, buzz?.you can hear the internet buzzing like a killer bee hive today and it is all about Tiny Tom?s ?um?interesting?.. video. I kept expecting that at any moment during the video his head would start spinning, he would vomit pea soup and start speaking in a deep voice?.this is some creepy, bizarre sheeyat:TT Video"When you're a Scientologist, and you drive by an accident, you know you have to do something about it, because you know you're the only one who can really help... We are the way to happiness. We can bring peace and unite cultures."?Tiny Tom Um?.ok?. double sheeyat?I sure hope that there will be more than Tiny Tom on the scene if I am in an accident?.a doctor, EMT, nurse?you know?someone who ACTUALLY has some kind of MEDICAL training would be nice. Of course, no discussion of this subject is complete without watching this:Some Scientology tenants: 75 million years ago Xenu, ...

The Twilight Zone
2008-01-15 03:48:00
This promises to be one of those weeks where you will constantly hear the theme from the ?Twilight Zone ? playing softly in the background?..When I turn on CNN this afternoon what do I see? War in the Middle East, the economy sucks, presidential primaries, researchers at the University of Minnesota were able to create a beating heart in a lab, big snow storm hit the east coast? No?live video of Britney Spears finally getting her arse out of bed and heading, hours late, to the hearing to determine whether or not she should get custody of her kids. You must admit...she puts on a great show. I loved her sense of fashion decorum?. What to wear when you want to show the world that you are a responsible mother?? Why, a lace see-through, mini, cootchie showing, oh-so-not-virginal white dress complete with mile high ?F-me? shoes of course!Contrast this to what Catatonic Katie wore this morning to her Good Morning America interview:Now, I am not a big fan of the ?Let?s look like we are a mat...
Britney and Frances
2008-01-05 16:36:00
Every time you think it could not be any more bizarre in Britney World something else happens that makes you literally gasp and say out loud "WTF????" I will admit, I love to read my gossip rags and prowl my gossip blogs, and Britney has been THE story the last two years (sorry Tiny Tom, Catatonic Katie and Turkey Baster Baby, when the mother ship comes and whisks you away you might be able to compete with BritneyWorld) But come on.... we read gossip items with a huge grain of salt and laugh when the rags finally manage to get one out of 200 stories right... but Britney has been whole other ball of wax. Her antics are so public, so "out there" that the rag sheets do not have to make anything up or even work at a story. For crying out loud---she bedded a married paparazzi last week and did not even bother to try and sneak around (heck not even Paris is that sleazy) The big question has not been whether or not Britney is a whack job, the question was WHY is she such a friggin' wa...

In the beginning.....
2008-01-04 21:12:00
Everything has to have a beginning and this blog is no different. I will try my hardest to amuse, share and probably annoy and disgust anyone who stumbles on this voyeuristic journey into my mind.I can be pretty obsessive when it comes to things that catch my attention....devoting tons of time and energy towards exploring, dissecting and analyzing topics to death....until I lose interest and then it is on to the next great adventure. There have been some constants over the years: those things I never seem to lose interest in--namely my family, computers, Kansas State University , chocolate and at the risk of coming off as the queen of narcissism--me. I have long pondered these questions: Why am I here? What is my purpose? Why do so many good things seem to happen in my life? Why am I considered to be lucky? Is it a coincidence that so many major events in my life seemed to materialize because I was in a certain place at a certain time? Why is it that I almost seem to be able to "wil...
