Woolworths launches massive sale!
2008-12-05 14:28:00 Troubled retailer Woolworths , which crushed under its debt last month, has launched what its administrators have called the group's "biggest ever sale". Discounts of up to 50% have been offered on toys and greeting cards, with prices for entertainment goods also being reduced across all ranges. Retail analyst Nick Bubb said the move "looked like a closing down sale". Also on Friday, the administrators announced 450 job cuts in support operations in London and Rochdale. There have not yet been any job cuts in shops or distribution centres. 2008-11-27 13:35:00 house selling, removals,wide screen TV cartoon.According to some none existent cartoon sages, it's very important for every cartoonist to have a cartoon based on the hilarity of moving house, and that cartoon simple must involve some sort of removal truck. Over here in the UK, the best known is Pickfords, although I've no idea if they even still exist. Or if they exist in the States. Do you American visitors have Pickfords? Another cartoon set in a shop!
2008-11-13 16:31:00 Bag Cartoon .This isn't the first time I've drawn a cartoon set in a shop. I've done all sorts of places where you can buy stuff. Computer shops to green grocers. All of them have been done. I don't think I've ever done one set in a nail bar, but those places just are not funny enough to warrant a cartoon in them. Some one asked me the other day why the title of the cartoon is posted in light grey above. That's so you can't see it, but Google can. And so far this has worked. Until someone asked that question, and I mentioned it just now. It's all about indexing, although I freely admit I don't understand the complicated bits, I do know that Spiders can't tell that it's a cartoon, so they need some help. Hence the unobtrusive text above. I'd write hilariously funny cartoon, but I think that might be pushing it a bit. Anyone looking for a bag cartoon will hopefully find it. More About: Shop

He was doing a smashing impression of an old git, moaning about the superficial features on modern mobile phones. Look at this one, then look at some more, then move along. It'd be nice if you considered coming back for another visit in a few days, just to see if there's another cartoon here, but you don't have to. My own cat has a weight problem. Inspiration is everywhere.

Changes in treatment of heart attack patients.
2008-10-24 17:57:00 NHS heart attack treatment change cartoon.Well this has been a very good week for the blog. All figures are up, visitor numbers (thanks to some very helpful stumblers) and revenue is also up and most importantly the number of cartoons posted are also up. Had some real fun this week with the cartoons. There's lots more in the works, so please keep revisiting and tell anyone you know about this site. I'd also like to thank those who sent in emails with ideas for cartoons. While I can't make promises to draw every single suggestion (sorry Bill, decapitation just isn't funny, I tried) they have all been food for thought. 2008-10-20 16:15:00 After 2.5 years of posting cartoons onto this Blog , I have decided now the ressession is upon us, this would be a great time to open up the Clangnuts Cartoon collection for sale, to Blog owners, newsletters, and publishers. Well, that's not strictly true. Over the years occasionally people have approached me to buy some cartoons, which I have mostly sold to them. What many of them have said is that they didn't realise that the cartoons were for sale or not - well they are. All of them. There's well over 300 gag cartoons here, so you're bound to find something you'd like, and if possible I can do commissions, although they will cost more than cartoons already in existence. Prices vary according to the scale of use, but for a small none commercial blog are very reasonable.
