Mark Twain Was A Psychopath?

Anyways...It seems like a lot of unnecessary work to make a claymation, full-length, childrens film based on what appears to be a surreal nightmare, but apparently someone felt that the demand was there. Regardless, the result is The Adventures of Mark Twain . Considering the fact that it creeps me out now, I can't imagine the emotional trauma that would have occurred had I seen this when I was 7.
