Jess and I started the process of moving in and buying new furniture (and selling/trashing/donating all the old junk) last Sunday, and so far it is going well. We purchased the Malm bed from Ikea, the couch from Jennifer Convertibles, and we are working up our next big batch of things to consider. The bed is enormous, the couch even bigger (it arrived on Friday and it is huge), the only conclusion we can draw from that is that Jess and I have terrible issues in judging scale. I just wanted to give you all a quick peek, a “before” if you will, so that future posts on the topic of the Sweet have some basis for conversation. More articles from this author:2007-10-03 20:57:00 The fine folks over at the Tripoli San Diego Rocket Club (and “Polecat Aerospace“) have completed work on their X-Wing fighter rocket (yes rocket, as in model rocketry) and are preparing for its maiden launch this weekend. The rocket includes collapsing wings (which are open during takeoff, and collapse for landing), and a rotating radio-controlled R2-D2 head (complete with sound). The launch takes place this weekend (10/6/2007) at the Plaster Blaster rocketry event in Plaster City, CA.
