Sometimes things are so simple and yet you take forever to get them done. This post is probably more for helping me remember next time then to teach anyone for I am sure that everyone probably knows this already. I wanted to hide all the icons on my desktop and set about finding where I can do that from. I looked at the various properties and settings dialogs but couldn’t find it. Now I KNEW that there is a way to do it and it is a fairly standard way. Well the way is to right click the desktop, go to Arrange Icons and Uncheck “Show Desktop Icons”.
