You Gotta Love Those Stupid Games

Yay, I am back! Together, we will look at a site which offers playable web games, with the name Those Stupid Game s . You might be left wondering, why should I pay a visit? Why should I play ?stupid games??Believe it or not, that?s exactly what we had in mind when we 1st discover the site via an email. But, out of curiosity, we clicked the link. At the end, Dav and I spent about 15 minutes in that site alone, playing games after games. You want to know the reason? That?s because right after we won one game, another game follows. The urge to keep going is too strong to resist.At first, all of the games were basically the same. All you need is the ability to click your mouse as fast as possible, and hit the target within a certain amount of time. Well, that is what games is for isn't it? Few months back, the TIME magazine termed online flash games as mindless and time wasters. Playing is said to be another form of procrastination. We play to avoid dealing with real problems that need our attention.What TIME failed to recognize is the satisfaction that players received when they won the game. Whether it is online gaming like those of World of Warcraft, or little free flashy games, the good feeling about ourselves is the main reason why we keep on playing knowing that these are - time wasting.Coming next is a little review about a unique gaming site, termed - Those Stupid Games. I am always in front of my PC, working and playing games. Hence, a nice desktop wallpaper is a must. Most of the time, I can get nice wallpaper from Deviantart for FREE!Here, I would like to share some of the them with you guys.Accidentally bumped into this blog yesterday at Digg. I like the idea of blogging but never have the urge to create one due to my rather poor writing. Ok, my turn to introduce myself with this mandatory entry. Hint, hint! It is likely that I would disappear from here for the next month or two. Well, that?s the reason why we named this blog Impulse Blogger isn?t it? Posts only on rare occasions, driven primarily by spontaneity!Nowadays, I spent a lot of my time playing the unofficial McDonald s game. It is an online game. Basically you could play as long as you have Macromedia Flash Player installed in your PC.You can see from the picture on your right that I am not doing well. I am sure many of you?d have watched the Devil Wears Prada when I write this entry. It is so happen that here at Melbourne, our cinemas are always behind in terms of releasing movies. Good question!A couple of weeks back, I had a chat with Vincento regarding our blogs. I asked if he has any idea why there are so few readers in our blog. At that time, I didn't even dare to mention that the entire blog of mine had less than 10 comments in total. Sad isn't it? How can we continue writing knowing that no one will ever read or leave their comments? Surely, after a while the momentum of blogging subsided. In the end, it will become trash, serve only to add up the huge chunk of blogs we already have (a total of 60 millions of blogs at the end of 2006, according to technorati).Thats the reason why we set up Impulse Blogg er .
