Its makes all the hours of hard work worth it. The only thing that I would question is what do they use as their criteria for assessing each blog? New Poll Plugin added
2007-10-09 15:46:00 Just added a new poll plugin got it from http://lesterchan.net/portfolio/programmi ng.php. I know its another thing I have added, I have noticed too that is starting to become a little bit too long so I am going to change the theme very soon. I have decieded to use a three colum theme so the post colum is wider and I will have two right hand side sidebars. This will be coming soon I promise. I am at the stage of tweaking the theme using WAMP5 on my own computer so I do not have to mess about with the blog on the webserver. Please use the poll plugin so I can get a better understanding of what you want from the blog. All ideas welcome. Blogcatalog discuss widget removal
2007-10-05 11:27:00 Had to remove the Blogcatalog discuss widget from the sidebar today due to a full minute wait for it to update when viewing the site either for the first time or after a cache clean-out. I noticed this after running CCleaner (Download CCleaner from FileHippo.com) and then going to this blog. To be honest I liked the widget and I have had 5 hits from www.blogcatalog.com, which is not bad for just a couple of days. I do not know if this is due to the widget or from the site itself. Now that I have removed the widget I will see what the impact is. My account says that I am ranked at 37.3 but I have not got a clue in what relation that is to other blogs I could not find out how the score is calculated or what is means on the website itself. All the ones that had neither got the boot. I was also starting to feel that maybe that it was becoming too crowded with ads and I also wanted to focus on just a few both from the point of view of high paying clicks and to make it easier to control.
