Lost in a Funk
2007-06-08 03:25:00 I am not at my job interview right now. I'm sitting in a Subway of Hwy 55 in Santa Ana right now, depressed by my own stupidity. I've been enough job interviews in my life to know how to prepare for them. Preparation really is key; knowing where the office is, finding various routes to get there, making sure I leave with plenty of time to get to my destination, knowing what to say and what not to say, what tools and info to bring with me - I have it down to a science. Yesterday, a very nice person named Megan called about a job I applied for over at Careerbuilder. We had a nice conversation over the phone. I carefully wrote down every important bit of info, making sure I repeated it back to her so that the information was correct. The time was set. All I had to do was show up.
