2008-10-13 11:50:00 I’ve been waiting for this for a LONG TIME! I just signed up as a free member at Ron Paul’s Campaign For Liberty and I encourage you all to do the same. I’m going to explore the site more before I decide to be a paid member or precinct leader, but chances are I will upgrade. The Campaign For Liberty site was established “to highlight the neglected but common-sense principles we champion and reinsert them into the American political conversation” and to help us build networks of citizens in every state to take back our country. 2006-12-02 16:08:07 I sat down tonight at a .25/.50 cash game at Spades Lounge.Spades Lounge is a newer poker room offering extremely easy 50-100 people $50 freerolls - top prize $14. Well, over the last couple weeks I've won a few of those freerolls and got my bankroll up to about $100 there. But, I noticed in order to cash out, you must deposit and play 200 raked hands. So, I deposited $50 for a $150 bankroll and quickly got it up to $240.Anyway, I sat down tonight and took some harsh beats. There was a player there named "patillo". Patillo liked to raise every other hand to $4 (at a .25/.50 game.) Then, if you called, he'd come firing a $10 bet after flop. Most would fold, including me. I just wasn't hitting the flop with anything. And when someone did call, he got lucky and won the pot.So, after some time of this, I found myself down $60 in about 45 minutes. The summer we went to the beach together every single day, playing beach volleyball and checking out the ladies in bikinis. The many nights we went to parties and clubs and got crunk. The crazy shit he did like back flips off 6 ft. high rails at the beach. The time we raced down the sand dunes (he started winning so I pushed him and he did about 8 flips down the hill. lol.) The times he jumped off the 3rd story diving board when we lived in Mexico together. Many, many good times.We also had some bad times and went through a lot of shit together. There were a few times he pissed me off so bad. But, it was hard, if not impossible to stay mad at Chris.
