MyBlogLog Community Exchange
2007-06-09 19:11:00
After the huge success of Alexa Redirect Train and Technorati Favourite Program, which also found place on this blog here and here, now comes another variant, MyBlogLog Comm unity Exchange . I am sort of loving this concept for gaining popularity and increasing linkback. To be honest, these two programs have contributed a lot in me obtaining a Technorati Rank just close to 1,00,000 within a period of about more than a month. If you are interested in gaining a lot of traffic and increasing the number of readers you have to your blog, this program may really help you. The rules are very simple:Join all of the MyBlogLog communities on the list below.Copy the list and create a new post on your blog and paste the list onto your post.Write a brief paragraph that explains what the game is above the list (just as I have done here).Add 2 or 3 more MyBlogLog communities to the list and then publish the post.If you want to be added to this list, simply drop me a comment below. So, here goes my l...

Quality telecommunications equipment and service
2007-06-09 09:29:00
Having quality telecommunications equipment is something any company can do, but what separates them is the service. That's why I think you'll be happy to stay with a quality company like First Point, Inc.What's great about First Point is that not only are they a top telecom reseller, but they offer warranties, repair services, and a range of telecom cables and accessories. They really do offer the full package. With a company like First Point, I know you'll appreciate how you can make one call to one company and get all of your needs met, instead of having to call multiple places to fix your needs.Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post.

Babelgum | A new IPTV service after Joost
2007-06-09 06:53:00
After the huge uproar created by Joost , in which many Joost invites were given and taken, yet another IPTV service, Babe lgum has been launched. The users can use Babelgum to distribute their videos to their clients or subscribers. Ads will be displayed against your content and revenue generated will be shared with the content provider. An important feature of Babelgum is that you can do recording while watching and also search the content using tags. The quality of Joost appears to better (although I have tried it only in 1280 x 800 mode). It seems that Babelgum doesn't have content with it right now and is just in the process of gathering it.Right now Babelgum is in public Beta and you can Click here to get the invite. It is a free service and is supported by ads only.Let's see how does Babelgum flare up in this heating marketplace.

Blue Coat Systems has recently released a product called K9 Web Protection, which filters the content displayed on your PC in a organized manner. The product is lightweight, simple, and can help protect your family. The filtering process can be customized in different ways.Through predefined categories: Categories are grouped into three main groups (commonly blocked categories, other categories and unrated web pages). You can choose either / all of them or can choose one or more categories selectively.Through Keywords: Although it is probably the best method, but sometimes is misleading, e.g. a website like sussex.com may get blocked if you use filtering based on keyword 'sex'.Lastly, you can determine how you are alerted when a site is blocked and the action to be taken. The reports are generated in a nice and easily readable format.
