It’s Been A Long Time…

Since I sat down and added something here. I have been extremely busy with some very lucrative development projects and available time for blogging seems to be non-existent. However, last night I started having minor chest pains and my wife is now insisting that I sit down at least one hour before I start working and give some time to my self. So, here I am. I will tell you this, I have been working with state-of-the-art development tools and will be sharing with my readers the latest in PHP/Flash programming. Every heard of the PHP extension Ming? Wikia Search Doesn’t Even Come Close

Yesterday I decided to try the new Wikia Search Engine and it was a very dissappointing experience. It has no database to speak of. Very flawed and completely irrelevant. I can’t even give it a complete review here as I was so unpleased with the website. Jimmy Wales…please go back and do what you do well and leave the search engines to the professionals.

Corruption and Scandal at St Theresa’s College

Living here in the Philippines is quite interesting. Here’s a tidbit on a huge scandal brewing up over at St. Theresa’s College here in Quezon City. This particular scandal is really sad, as it completely undermines the wonderful reputation that this school has earned over the decades. Imagine, falsely accusing a student of forgery to place your own daughter in position of valedictorian. Ms. Bayle, Ms. Sacdalan…you should be ashamed and most certainly you should be removed from your positions. If this was the U.S., charges would be filed against you and you would both go to jail. How can parents continue to send their daughters to a school which practices this type of deception and dishonesty? It appears that amist all the recent speculation regarding the delay of the quarterly-ish PageRank Toolbar Export; Matt Cutts, head of Google ’s webspam team has decided to give us a hint as to when we can expect the toolbar PR value to be made public again. Google PageRank Update September 2007?

Well, here it is September 3rd and still no visible changes in the PageRank values in the Google Toolbar. In my honest opinion, that can only mean two things: Either Google has decided to no longer make it’s PageRank values visible, or they are getting ready to roll out some BIG changes in their algorithms. My guess, evidenced by recent fluctuation on the SERPs, is that a major algorithm update has taken place, maybe even new filters on paid links have been applied. Whichever the case may be OR not be. One thing is for certain, the quest for Googledom is still every SEOs ultimate goal. Since PageRank as a number has little or nothing to do with the SERPs, unless you buy or sell links for a living, it doesn’t really matter what your PageRank value is, only that your backlinks are relevant enough to get you on the 1st page of Google. ??Will there be a Google PageRank Update September 2007? Wow! I finally got a break in the action long enough to give a few tips regarding Live Webcasting on a grand scale. These methods are not for simple webcasting to a few connections, but for broadcast media. Recently I was approached by a local television station subcontractor regarding the implementation of a Live Webcast.
