Starting today, ads that appear in U.S. Yahoo ! Search results with descriptions longer than 70 characters will be cut off (?truncated?) at the nearest complete word, followed by an ellipsis. The optional 190-character long descriptions may still be displayed on some of our distribution partners? sites.If you have not amended your ads to include short descriptions, you?ll want to do so now. Today I was reading on Techcrunch that Googl e is in acquisition discussions with telephone management startup GrandCentral they think that the deal has been actually been closed.The basic idea around GrandCentral is ?one phone number for all your phones, for life.? As we change jobs, homes and cell phones, there are a lot of phone numbers to keep track of, and keeping everyone up to date with your most recent phone numbers is a real cost. If you use GrandCentral you can give out a single phone number.
