So this is my monday morning. From Starbucks dela Rosa I went straight to the office at around 8am. As part of my usual monday morning routine, I began to collect the daily newspapers to review ads and to also read on current events. So read Manila Bulletin, Phil Star, Inquirer, Business Mirror and then when I got to Manila Standard I flipped thru the pages. Landed on the Life, Fashion & Beauty section of this paper and I saw the all-too familiar picture of a lady. At first I couldn't figure out who she was, her name and then I read Malu Fernandez DIVALICIOUS. OMG. She's really back from the grave. I quickly threw away the paper. After lunch, couldn't help but surf the net again to look for the cyber counterpart of the article. So here. This is such a great idea from BBDO Guatemala.The challenge was to raise the level of knowledge of the Super Glue brand in a market with unavailable buget for traditional media. They hired a fleet of vehicles that were placed in high transited points in the city. A boot was attached to them, like the ones the traffic police attach to infractors. The boot was designed in a way so that the vehicle looked like if a tube of Super Glue was attached to stop it from moving.

Clearly very much delayed in updating the website, here's Adobo Magazine's ad of the month for June (July, August as well?). The concept doesn't hit the target (male like me) because of two things... I am turned off by the concept of using a transgender person which makes me think "is this the best they could think of to hit the male ego?" and second, parking your Porsche on the side street is plain crazy and unbelievable. This ad of the month(s) sucks by my book.
