2007-02-17 06:56:02 Being sick is no fun. I have a couple of tutorials I want to post once I feel a little better. I saw a couple of questions here and at the Agloco Fourm. Anyway I saw that Agloco has posted a section with different member websites. I talked about this before but starting a blog or something similar is a great way to promote yourself online. This way you will always have a centralized place where people can get information. Even when you are doing business face to face you should have a website that you can send them too (plus email). And while I’m here, after you start a blog and put some content (this is key, without content what do you have) join MyBlogLog. This is a site which is a community of website owners. You can go and look at their site and if you like them join their site. Then they might do the same in return. I have found a lot of great sites through MyBlogLog. Come join my community. I know I’m not getting hundreds per day and I’m on the front page of Google. So what does that tell me? It just reaffirms that this is a face to face business. But I’m still in the top 2% and moving up (well down in numbers but up in… you know what I meant), so I’m going in the right direction. Just not as quickly as some other people. So it gives you more time to recruit, as a lot of people are waiting for the Viewbar to be released before they recruit. Agloco will pay by Paypal Yes, this is probably the second most asked question. I know it was mentioned before in an interview as something they want to look into, but now it is confirmed. They are also going to look into eGold but no answer on that. Forms should include bank-to-bank (ACH), PayPal (and similar), credit to cards (like VISA), and checks in the mail. Why have you not Joined Agloco?
2007-02-04 12:46:01 ****Warning: Rant On**** The number one reason I see people say is that “they are waiting for the Viewbar to be released“. They say they are going to join, but want to wait until the Viewbar is released. This is another statement I just don’t understand? Yeah I can understand a little not talking to certain people until the Viewbar is released becuase it will be eaisier to get them to Join . But these are probbaly the same poeple you should wait until you have received something from Agloco, either shares or cash, which probably won’t be unitl at least a month after the Viewbar is released. And a month is probably really pushing it. But if you understand the value of building a network in Agloco, or even if you know you are getting because there is nothing to do on your part besides sign-up, which takes a minute, why are you waiting until the Viewbar is released to Join? Oh yeah, before I forget. About the 2 last posts. I don’t know, I think I was just in a fighting mood. Back to the thoughts in my head. What if as founding Members Agloco decides to reward us. Maybe with some stock right away or something. For helping them through the beta period. This is not unheard of in the software industry. Maybe it is just me being hopeful. And maybe Agloco didn’t think about this and then will read this post and it puts a thought in their head too . Agloco is a scam
2007-02-01 12:44:01 You see this all over the place. And you know I don’t mind seeing it because I don’t believe it for one second. The problem I have is no one ever has a reason why they call it a scam. I even ask them, please just give me one reason. Only once did someone say because Agloco wants to get email address. Huh? Well my views on that have been documented before “10 questions by non-members” so I won’t even get into that. One side note for all you email conspiracy fans out there, I haven’t yet received one spam message on the account I signed up with. And I have been a member for over 2 months. I have 20 direct referrals and I know the ones that are friends and family, but I have a few who are not. AGLOCO Official made a post about wanting to hear from Agloco members about what their favorite site is that deals with Agloco. So go on over and vote for what sites you like to read about Agloco. On our first poll we had over 30 people leave comments with their Member Id’s. I think that went pretty well for our first poll and was something a little different. I now see polls on a bunch of Agloco member sites. One last note. Don’t get discouraged. This can take a long time. How to post a screenshot of your member network
2007-01-24 06:37:01 This tutorial will show how to get an image of your member network. We will use windows paint (if someone sends me mac instructions I will post those too) as everyone should have it. I know there are better options, and I like to use Gimp or IrfanView, which are free. Open your member network in a browser. Important make sure the browser has the focus. Then hold down the ALT key and press the Prnt Scrn key. This will copy an image of the window that has focus (the browser) to the clipboard. Open windows paint. Select Edit then Paste from the menu. At this point an image of the browser should be in windows paint. Click the Free-Form Select tool . Then click the Select tool . Drag a box around your network numbers to select it. Select Edit then Copy from the menu. This will copy your selection to the clipboard. Select File then New from the menu. Choose the No button if paint asks you if you want to save changes. 2007-01-23 18:36:01 The official Agloco blog has been updated recently. http://blog.agloco.com and I must say the layout looks amazing . They have a post about what is in it for the members who don’t have any or very little referrals, titled AGLOCO for All Members. This is actually a pretty informative post as most people trying to build up their networks probably look over. The post is directed at people who use the Internet to do things like shopping and the value that Agloco provides. Basically the Viewbar will be able to help people find retailers who pay a commission to Agloco for the product or service which you are about to purchase or potentially direct you to a partner if you are not already on their site. So you will eventually see a sizable percentage of the commission directly into your account. When before you would see nothing for what you just bought now you will see some money. A better understanding of Agloco
2007-01-23 18:36:01 Brief Summary I was reading this post on the Official blog which mainly talks about people on the Internet create value. Agloco wants to band people together to get the members as much value that they created from the Internet as they can. By creating a community of people with the same goal they can get more value to disperse to their members. My Thoughts I agree with most of this. But I think you have to talk about the multi level marketing (MLM) side of this. Because this is the reason most people have joined Agloco. Lets says there was non levels in Agloco you just signed up and you say you created 1 dollar worth of value. Then for one year you would get 365 dollars. Not bad and for most people they would probably sign-up as long as it didn’t really interfere with their day to day routine. But you wouldn’t get people out recruiting for other people to sign-up, so most likely this method would flop. So I think the real value for members is in the levels you can bui...
