Do you find it hard to watch or hear anything without thinking about the business or profit side of it?Here's a very quick example...Just days ago the entire world was treated to Tata Motors' announcement of their $2,500, 50 mpg Nano [car]. My first thoughts were of the potential profits that an enterprising and ambitious person or company might research. For now, the world's cheapest car will be sold only in India, but Tata has said it eventually hopes to export it.So what if one was to start purchasing these cool little cars in India, prepare them for export and ship them to customers abroad? The demand would certainly be there if the costs could be controlled.Here's another example...This may have already been tried I have no idea. I totally suck at predictions. And now that some of the smoke has settled I guess I post a quick new year message. The smoke I'm referring to was my inbox. I received over a hundred emails from fellow marketers wishing a Happy New Year, giving away gifts and special offers. I'm sure you've been inadated with mail too.Here's are my immediate plans for the beginning of 2008. I'm not going to call them resolutions because they are actual plans already in progress. I didn't push my plans way out there because I know things change very quickly. My long term goals change constantly but I still have them.OutsourcingAs always, time is at a premium and I think I'm ready to start outsourcing a few of the things I normally take care of myself.
