WordPress 2.3.2 Released!
2008-01-01 18:50:00
taken from the original source Newly released WordPress 2.3.2 has an urgent security release that fixes a bug that can be used to expose your draft posts. WP 2.3.2 also suppresses some error messages that can give away information about your database table structure and limits and stops some information leaks in the XML-RPC and APP implementations. Get 2.3.2 now to protect your blog from these disclosures. As a little bonus, 2.3.2 allows you to define a custom DB error page. Place your custom template at wp-content/db-error.php. If WP has a problem connecting to your database, this page will displayed rather than the default error message. For more detail on what’s new in 2.3.2, view the list of fixed bugs and see the changes between 2.3.1 and 2.3.2. Special thanks to Alex Concha for his help on this release. 2008-01-01 18:03:00
Some internet users and old hand bloggers might stay away from Get Paid To sites and think there’s no real income or business opportunity with them. They are nailed to the small pennies earned by reading a mail or clicking a single ad. They don’t realize that success comes to those who know how to use stuff, not to those who have good stuff. If you recently made your steps online, you can find more information about get paid to sites in this blog and future RSS or mail updates. Income opportunity Even it’s said you can achieve success with GPT sites, don’t picture doing it yourself. Successful members earn their loads of cash through their network. They build their groups and maintain them well. When you joined a GPT program, usually you’ll have your own affiliate link you can use to promote the program to someone else. When anybody joins through your affiliate link, you ‘ll be credited a certain amount of their earning as long as both of you are ...

Sub Domains To Be Treated As Folders By Google
2007-12-30 10:51:00
This post is taken from Google Lady’s blog. I encourage you to read more of her quality posts here. Tedster from Webmaster World said: News flash from Las Vegas PubCon. Matt Cutts informed us that Google will very soon begin treating subdomains and subdirectories the same in this fashion: there will be only 2 total urls from a domain in any set of search results, so no more getting 3, 4 or however many spots via subdomains. We didn’t get any more information than just that basic heads-up. This update from Google in my opinion has 1 pro and 1 con if this have been applied or “will” be applied by Google: Blogspot If this happen what will be the blogspot subdomains owners? There are thousands of people who opens blogs with blogspot and their address will be “yourname.blogspot.com” which is under a subdomain. How can Google handle this problem? They own blogspot and making an “exception” will be really unfair. I think this is the con’s point that this change could...

Web Hosting Comparison

This is the basic comparison of 3 web hosting services I currently use. They are HostMonster, Yahoo! Hosting , and GoDaddy Hosting. HostMonster differs their package time based. This means, the monthly price for a 3 months package is more expensive than a 24 months package, while disk storage, bandwith, MySQL database quota and everything else is the same for all packages. Yahoo! and GoDaddy hosting services on the other hand, offer packages based on their features like disk space, bandwidth, MySQL database, and others, and secondly on monthly and yearly basis. To make things simple, this comparison table only lists their top and lowest valued package and basic features to look for. Top Packages Comparison Features Yahoo!
