For the last 3 hours I have been browsing the web looking for something, anything, that may be suitable to blog about. I have been trying to find my blog niche and I am currently leaning toward AGLOCO, with a dash of the Blog osphere, a hint of Marketing Tips, and a side of entertaining goodies in the Grab Bag. Then of course a bit of randomness tossed in for good measure. Blogging about the things that you are actually interested in is always a good practice when blogging. If you blog about something you have no interest in, you are inevitably doomed to fail. But I am interested in many things, and I am still unsure on what to lean towards to help create my niche. I have begun to learn about marketing and do have some useful information, but I would rather blog about things that I am really capable of helping others with. I will try to not post yet another video from YouTube in the next Grab Bag, but I just couldn’t help it with this one. This is a great video that showcases some of the top video games of all time in pantomime form. Ah, the old “blow in it” technique, worked like a charm, those were teh dayz. And I also overhauled the comment system. I now have the MyAvatars Plugin installed to show the faces from MyBlogLog users in the comments and I added the fun Identicon Plugin with it as well. Disclaimer: I may or may not have been awake when writing the following. Please forgive me for any and all incoherent speech. Heyo everyone! It’s me again… yeah I know, but until I have a guest blogger, or get a co-author, you will just have to deal with it for now. O_o’… Anyways, I just wanted to mention a “few” things that have been updated this last week on this blog. Blog Changes I got rid of the ugly ridges on the header above and now have a shiny new one that looks oh so clean. I also updated the menu graphics as well. I hope ya all like it, I uh, made it myself. There were also some weird Firefox layout problems as well, those are now resolved (mostly). I was browsing MyBlogLog, checking out some user’s that have been to blogAGLOCO.com, and I came upon Jeffrey Munro’s Blogs. Jeffrey runs a blog at JeffreyMunro.Com about blogging tips and tricks, but the part of his blog that intrigued me the most was his selection of beautiful free wallpapers. The site is filled with hundreds of awesome photographs, that you can use as wallpapers, all showing off this beautiful world that God made. I currently have this one on my desktop, these pictures are some of the highest quality photos I have seen, although the resolution is not that big at only 1024×768. Maybe Jeffrey could put even higher quality versions up some other time. Yesterday, Brian Greenwald of the AGLOCO Development Team, updated The Official AGLOCO Blog once again with information regarding the recent changes on AGLOCO’s Website, future Member communication possibilities, and the Viewbar’s release date. Although some people were hoping that AGLOCO’s Viewbar may already be released, it appears that it is currently slated for the second half of March. There are many problems that arise when programming any kind of software, and it is hard to set a certain date in stone if you want the software to be of high quality when it is released. I am glad that AGLOCO has allowed people to come into the company early and get involved, and share with the company while it prepares to go live. This way we can share in some of the growing pains of the company, and we can also share in the benefits of being involved with it in its early state. It’s finally Marc h , the month the AGLOCO Viewbar is slated for release. Many current Members are getting excited, and anxious, to obtain an exact release date from an AGLOCO representative. I would not mind a bit of a later March release, mainly due to me just recently getting some ad campaign’s off the ground, but I am also eager to see the potential of AGLOCO. If you take a look at AGLOCO’s Website you will notice that they updated their site quite a bit by simplifying the Member Calculator again, updating the Referral Center, changing the blogs on the Blog’s Around the World page, and also changing some other little things.
