Asking myself the question today - How do I promote this Blog ? I came across an interesting Post on that subject here.The answer is simplicity itself - one post at a time. Yes content is king but it needs to be content that is consistent and has a focus.While it is fine to Blog about anything and everything on a Personal Blog it isn't quite like that in a Niche Blog.I have to ask myself everytime I write a Post - what am I bringing to the table. Remove No-Follow on Comments

I had a comment today that I didn't allow to go through simply because I didn't like the attitude of the person who left the comment.It did however give me food for thought, so I did a little research about removing no-follow from Blogger and this is what I found.To remove "no-follow' from Blogger you will need to edit the Template.Go to edit HTML, make sure you click Expand Widget Templates scroll down until you see this:rel='nofollow'Delete the words in red in the above code : rel='nofollow' and save the template.This now supposedly makes your Blog a Do-Follow Blog.So, I will be leaving the You Comment - I follow widget on this Blog as I have followed the above instructions.SourceUpdate:After careful consideration and convincing discussion I have put the No Follow attribute back in the template. Stay Motivated and Get More Done

If you can motivate yourself you can get any task done. You know whenever we start something new it's easy to get motivated because we have enthusiasm for the new project or task. Once this becomes routine though it becomes more difficult to get and stay motivated.For me sometimes it is hard to get motivated or inspired to write because I have a short attention span. I try to only work on my Blog(s) for about 35 minutes or so.With that in mind here are some tips that have worked for me:1.Take short breaks every half an hour or so; walk away from what you're doing.2. Alternate between two tasks. If you keep at a single task for too long, you're almost sure to get bored.3. Sometimes listening to soft music in the background helps me to stay focused.4. Create a list of the most important tasks you need to do the next day. Prioritize the list. And keep working in the order of your priorities. I cannot believe how much easier it is for me to write now that I don't have my Blog right in front of my face. Somehow, I feel less pressured this way. What a relief.I discovered this neat little Program while I was searching around trying to find information about 'Spell Check for your Blog' and I came across something that mentioned Windows Live Writer and that it had been updated to use with the New Blogger. It's been a long and frustrating day today. I have signed up with about a million paid to take survey sites and another half million affiliate programs. This learning how to earn online is almost like working a full time job. I keep reading and re-reading the same stuff over and over again. I tell you it gets to be a headache. I did find one good Site about "Blogger Inspiraation."Everyone says the same things, have ads, no ads, not to many ads.
