2008-03-11 13:10:00 I had one of those nightmarish days yesterday where one of my servers stopped responding (well two servers by the end of the day). Sedo Feautured Listing - save your cash
2008-03-10 10:13:00 As a test I decided to use Sedo’s featured listing to see whether it helped offers or sales, it’s quite apparent they are not a broker in the sense that they would seek out a buyer for premium domains however they are the only real shop window so worth a test I felt. 5 Time Suckers for the Internet Entrepreneur
2008-02-20 12:17:00 For the past month or so I’ve been neglecting my business somewhat. I’ve been working my usual hours but looking back the time I’ve been investing has often been wasted. You could say I’ve spent the last month learning how to be busy without actually doing anything, which isn’t smart. So where’s the time going. Email As I do the majority of my business on the Net, email is the preferred and predominant communication method. I currently get around a thousand emails a day, of which Google automatically trashes about 700. This still leaves 300 that need reading ad responding to or deleting. What I’ve been doing in the last month is checking my email way too often and often reading an email without acting on it so needing to read it again, so losing double the amount of time. Starting as of yesterday my solution to this is to just check email twice a day and have the time set aside to act on all received. If I am waiting for an email off somebod... Master stroke or just mad to turn down a $57,000 profit!
2008-02-05 11:48:00 Happy days indeed, I mentioned on Friday’s roundup that I sold a domain and had to travel to do the deal, I have to say that although I am not a domainer and prefer to buy domains to develop thus greatly increasing their value, I did enjoy this experience! For those long time readers you may remember last July when I commented on my discover of led bulbs from the New Scientist in a post about getting ahead of the game. The fact of the matter is that even when you come across future technology chances are someone had reg’d the domains before you, which they had. You can still make good investments from buying from domainers and domain owners, ledbulbs.co.uk cost £675 ($1328)  after some negotiation. Once I had that secured I always like to try and cover myself with the next best if possible so contacted the owner of ledlightbulbs.co.uk which I had to pay £1000 ($1967) for and it came with ledlightbulb.co.uk I am pretty sure many people would have baulked at paying Â...
