5 Tips To Grab Hold Of Your Focus When Writing
2008-01-28 15:47:00 I've heard bloggers writing a single blog post for two to four hours. Boasting aside, I only write mine an hour or two each. No, I'm not a natural writer. In fact, I'm still having those "Dramatic pause" every minute or so looking for the right word to express my point (That's because English is not my first language.) What's my secret? Focus . Do nothing but write the article. But how do you grab hold of that focus till you finish the article? Here are my five tips: 1. Turn Off That Music Do not lower the volume, turn it off! I've had bad experiences with music when writing. In my own experience this is the number one thing that always keeps me out of focus when writing. The last minute you were writing, the next minute you find yourself singing and swaying with the music. Now who's with me? 2.… More About: Writing , Tips , Hold , Grab

Digg, I?m Sorry
2008-01-25 15:26:00 Experimenting is my thing. At the age of 5, I always ask my dad for old scraps, electronics and stuff. I open it, but never put a single screw back again. At the age of 8, I open up my toys and connected it with anything I can find in our house. I remember the days when my mom would yell at me "Clean up your mess!" Experimenting is really my thing... And I did it again - this time, with Digg . The result? "My Blog Got Banned On Digg" Not only my blog but also my account, and that's a pretty big loss for me. I love Digg and I visit it almost everyday to hang out and read interesting stories. I love reading those everyday Apple news, Ron Paul hoorays and especially looking at the Digg's image section. I can't bookmark them now. Today, I'm gonna use my mom's… More About: Personal
Writing For The Web?
2008-01-25 05:14:00 This article is guest posted by Mahesh Kale. Writing for web is different than other types of writing. The quality of content matters more than anything on your site. And instead of defining your own definition of quality content let your visitors do the job. Visitors don't read on the Web; instead they scan the pages, find what they want and leave the site. You?ve to tweak your content in such way that they'll keep visiting your site. But how you can do that? So without any more introductory paragraphs, let?s get into it with the techniques of writing quality content for the web: Topic The theme of your topic should be easily visible and knowable. Your topic should be easily locatable by search engines. Do your research for the topic & relevant keywords. Always keep your users in mind. Think about which information they are looking for. If you're writing for…

Text Links To Increase Traffic - Bid For A Better Position
2008-01-23 14:01:00 This post is sponsored by Text Link Easy and posted by Charles Lau. Text Link business has been around for quite a while since linking for profits is the way to go on the Internet. Everybody is looking to get an exposure of their websites through different forms of advertisement. Some of the ways are Pay-Per-Click advertisements, private advertisements and text link advertisements. There are also links from search engines, human-edited directories too. With the increasing online activities, the need for more links seems to be more and more necessary since they all help in bringing in traffic to your website. One way of linking I am going to review is Text Link Easy. [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L l0m5LOmYcA] My First Experience When I first look at this website for my review homework, the URL stated it clearly for my understanding that it is a text link business. The Brilliant Way To Find A Niche Market!
2008-01-22 14:59:00 This article is guest posted by Franck Silvestre. Affiliate marketing is often seen as the easiest money you will make online. Let me put the record straight, this is not true. This may be one of the biggest lies when it comes to making money online. Still with me? I am going to show you the very first thing you need to do in order to earn money with affiliate marketing... The very first thing you need to do is... Find a hungry market of people who are going whatever your promote. They are called desperate buyers. How To Build Niche Sites With Wordpress
2008-01-21 15:23:00 When I asked the question "What's stopping you from making money online" to my list I was bombarded with different kinds of answers. Most common reasons were - not enough money (Which was recycled a lot of times), not enough time, etcetera, etcetera. To those who answered that, watch this video. Although here's one thing I can't blame people about - starting their own Wordpress blog. If you knew nothing about the internet and you want to make money online using Wordpress, it's hard to find answers that are detailed enough for you to understand. So for those newbies who are finding a hard time starting their own Wordpress blog, fear no more. You can grab a copy of Caroline's free report on how to make money-making niche sites with Wordpress. The Miracle Of The Mystical Feed Count Spike
2008-01-19 04:59:00 Yesterday, I posted an article about a massive heart stopping mystical feed count spike. The stats showed that my subscribers went through the roof, skyrocketed from 770 to 6,856. I gave time to look deep what was happening and it looks like several people caught the jump too. Here's a thread from the feedburner community. From the looks of it, the stats are now back to normal (There are still other blogs who still have the jump though), but not only normal... I gained an additional 130+ subscribers in just one day because of that mystical feed count spike. How did that happened? Well, here's the thing... "People love to join bandwagons." When they saw that my blog has 6,856 subscribers, they quickly jumped in and subscribed. The funny thing was, it's the same old blog! So the lesson here is when you have big things to show, don't hesitate to… More About: Miracle , Feed , Spike , Count , Mystical
A Massive Heart Stopping Mystical Feed Count Spike
2008-01-17 12:44:00 Update: The Miracle Of The Mystical Feed Count Spike Yes, that 6,856 subscribers under the sidebar is right from feedburner. The title says it all, it's a massive heart stopping mystical feed count spike - that happened in just one day... I'm not saying it's legit though. It looks like someone is trying to spam me using FeedBlitz, it's not that bad. But of course, it will mislead some people and mostly advertisers. I'll observe it for a day or two and then I'll ask Feed Blitz about it. For now, let me enjoy the big numbers and visualize what would happen in the near future ;-) More About: Heart
Increasing Your Feed Readers is Easy! How?!
2008-01-16 15:03:00 This article is guest posted by Marko If you are one of those bloggers "stuck" with 7 readers daily, I can really imagine that you were shocked when you saw the title saying that "increasing your feed count number is pretty easy!" Well, here is a fact for you. Generating more RSS subscribers is pretty easy (and fast) when you monetize your blog the right way! Through my blogging days I saw many bloggers crying for RSS readers without even monetizing their blogs the right way. So in order to stop this invasion I've made a list of methods, ALL bloggers should use to grow their feed readers. Don't wait subscribers to "fall off" the sky... Build your list YOURSELF! So how do I build my list? Here's how: 1. Use Full RSS Feed . Like I do, or any big blogger does use full feed RSS. The last thing I need… More About: Readers , Easy
The Kidblogger Meets The MasterListBuilder
2008-01-13 15:36:00 I learned more things today than the last seven days combined. My head just exploded when I met one of the top notch internet marketers. When I say top notch, I mean the guy who taught gurus. Namely Armand Morin, Mike Litman, Terry Dean, etc. Who worked with legends like Jay Levinson, Joe Vitale, Ted Nicholas, you name it. So who's this guy I'm talking about? They call him The MasterListBuilder, Joel Christopher. With that staggering introduction, you won't believe that Joel is simple, very simple. He doesn't even wear a watch. Ordinary kind of guy, with the ordinary khaki pants and shirt (Hey, we're both in pink!), BUT when he starts talking... Bam! Everybody heads up and listen. Me, and Joel Christopher One of the things I love about Joel is how he NEVER forgets our country, yes he's a Filipino too, a proud one. How he shares his… More About: Featured , Aster
The Irresistible Breakfast Offer
2008-01-12 16:58:00 The Ultimate Blogging HQ I think it was 2 months ago when I showed you the books I bought from Amazon. One of the 4 books there was Mark Joyner's The Great Formula. The first half of the book often mentions another book of his "The Irresistible Offer ". Although I haven't bought it yet, I can't believe that the tagline "How to Sell Your Product or Service in 3 Seconds or Less" is possible. Well, I was wrong. You see, our hotel vacation this Christmas was not really an all day off for me (Like what I wanted it to be). I dunno, I think I now breath marketing, I eat marketing, I... Speaking of eat, that's where the story started. When we checked-in in our hotel rooms, they humbly gave us coupons for 2 free continental breakfast. So in the morning, my dad and I went to the hotel's restaurant… More About: Breakfast

Persuasive Brand Marketing Increases Profits Online
2008-01-08 14:24:00 This article is guest posted by Jan Verhoeff Constantly bombarding your reader with the name of your company may brand your market, but will it increase the number of times they think of you when they?re looking for specific products? If your company name isn?t the same or doesn?t mean your product, you must somehow link the two in order to increase effectiveness. Marketing strategies that improve business maximize the relationship between the reader and the product. Brand recognition increases visual stimuli and dominates the thought process. When you want chicken, you don?t just go to any old chicken fryer, you want the one and only country fried chicken. If you desire the fizzle of a cola, not just any soda will do. $1.95 Business Opportunity With Huge Earning Potential
2008-01-05 04:00:00 This sponsored review is posted by Charles Lau What's wrong with paying only $1.95 for a business opportunity when every product being sold is definitely going to earn you back your money? What Did You Do This Christmas?
More articles from this author:2007-12-31 13:48:00 After the launch of the new design, I spent few minutes killing some theme bugs (Although I'm sure there are still some) then got back to work with the product I was talking about before. The report was finished near midnight 11 PM. When I converted it to PDF a minor glitch pop-upped. It seems like the image lost its quality. I haven't encountered this before and in fact, I'm still using the same converter (Adobe 3d) and the same image types. Luckily I've got a friend on MSN who was willing to help. Dean Hunt generously converted it for me just so I finish it before the deadline - Thanks man. While we were chatting, I was surprised when my mom told me that we're going out tomorrow. Of course, I didn't ask why because obviously it's Christmas time. That snowballed and gave the launch 3 days of delay, considering that… More About: Personal 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 |
