Inhuman Rampage by Dragon ForceIf you can't already tell from their photo or name (which was either devised by a fifth grader or based on some horrible Nintendo role-playing game), DragonForce is a metal band. But they're not just any metal band. DragonForce is a living, breathing, walking cliché of such epic proportions, it makes Spinal Tap seem like an actual documentary.Even with all the references to battles of steel and the burning of fire and flames, it's still pretty impressive that DragonForce was able to use the word "pain" an incredible 26 times in only eight songs (and that doesn't even count how many times it's repeated in the chorus). The Cure New Album Postponed Again

The interviews are combined with footage of Washington cities Seattle, Aberdeen and Olympia, where Cobain spent most of his life, shot by director AJ Schnack. The project began in March, after Einziger had surgery to relieve debilitating Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. “I couldn’t play guitar for a few months,” Einziger tells Billboard.com, “so I just started studying music again. New Audio Interview With CHINO MORENO of DEFTONES Available
2007-07-13 06:04:00 An audio interview with DEFTONES frontman Chino Moreno , conducted on July 11, 2007 in Vancouver by E.S. Day of Abort Magazine, has been posted online at this location.DEFTONES have posted footage from the band's tour stop in Salt Lake City on June 24, featuring backstage antics and performance highlights. Chino Moreno said that the Sacramento, Calif.-based quintet has set up a backstage writing room where they're creating new material."We're going in there and playing as five of us in the room with just our instruments, no other distractions," he explained. "That's how we started out, basically, when we first started the band — us in the garage, no ProTools or anything to get us ahead of ourselves. 2007-07-11 07:26:00 Local music fans, especially of the band scene, were recently surprised by the news that legendary ‘90s band, the Eraser heads, is scheduled to perform at Saguijo Café in Makati City this coming July 26. But for those who are eagerly looking forward to the event in the hopes of seeing the Pinoy fab four together once more dishing out their classic well-loved hits, the truth is there would still be no reunion that night. While the name of the band was indeed billed that evening together with contemporaries, The Teeth, Rivermaya, and Parokya ni Edgar, only two former Eraserheads members are sure to show up. The Eraserheads—composed of Ely Buendia (vocals/guitars), Marcus Adoro (guitars), Buddy Zabala (bass), and Raimund Marasigan (drums)—are credited for leading local alternative music into the mainstream industry through their spunky, witty, and irrelevant yet catchy songs, which captured the imagination of the youth growing up during the ‘90s.
