More articles from this author:2007-08-24 12:33:00 Britney Spears has reportedly put the brakes on a duet with Justin Timberlake , right before she was due to lay down vocals.The song was set to be produced by uber-producer Timbaland at his Virginia Beach studio and would have seen Spears and Timberlake record vocals separately in different studios.The New York Post's Page Six column reports that Timberlake wrote the song especially for Spears and that Timbaland had already scheduled a week in the studio to produce.Apparently Britney cancelled her vocal recording session just before she was due to fly out, and refused to do the song.Rumours are currently flying that Britney will perform at this years' MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas on September 9, although they are unconfirmed.Credits to NME.com More About: Britney Spears , Britney 1, 2, 3 |
