Kwame and Missy Elliott co-produced Tweet's lead single "Turn Da Lights Off" from It's Me Again.Before The Cookbook came out, he was interviewed by MTV News saying he and Missy were recording for her next album and had some crazy tracks. Elliott decided which birthday presents Ciara should unwrap first, and the R&B star happily did what she was told. First off, Missy is confirmed to be on the new Mary J. Blige LP via MTV Canada.Second, via HHE, Trina is releasing two singles, "I'm Single Again" and "I Got A Bottle" featuring Missy Elliott. Also, Missy is working on getting all of the rap ladies on a record, according to Trina:I spoke with Missy, she is trying to get all the women and girls and do this one big huge record. I thought it was a great idea. I don't know if we will be able to make it happen, but it would be a big deal for the women in hip-hop. If not, everybody is all over the place, we don't even have a category at Awards anymore, that's not cool.

Queen Latifah speaks on a track on her new album, Trav'lin Light.And "Chick on the Side" was probably the most taxing. That record was intended to be a triplet. It was never supposed to be just me on the song. I had a good bunch of people come in and hook up the background vocals, but I had to lay the basics before they got there. But just even in terms of the verses, I just mentally always saw that song as a trio. Initially, I intended for me and Jill [Scott] and Erykah [Badu] to do it, then me and Jill and Missy [Elliott] were going to do it. A package featuring Whitney Houston, John Legend, Dave Meyers, Queen Latifah, Robin Thicke, Lil Kim, Wylef Jean, and Will.i.am, among many others, shows them making their attempts to sound like Missy with her various noises including "Hee Hee Hee Haw," "Supa Dupa Fly" and "Ra-ta-ta-ta."Kerry Washington came out and gave a very kind speech, ending with saying its time to call Missy Elliott what she is: a legend.Next was a package with interviews that we posted earlier (see this post) of Missy in the purple Prince shirt talking about her history and how she got into the game.Then the performances began. Also, it now touts "Single Again" has her first single instead of "I Got A Bottle" featuring Missy Elliott. It's already claiming the LP will be released February 12, 2008.Am I the only one that hates when dinky labels "schedule" releases 5 months in advance?
